I'm making two Maril builds currently, one will be a railgun sniper, other a hopper. I can't decide if the internal carts are any good.

1. The sniper build I use the railgun sound ball combo will all cap carts, and quickland+hopping cart. Only two carts left and I was wondering if i should go sniper sight broad rador or internal since i use sound balls?

2. For the hopper, the same carts for railgun. Should i get internal or get blast and sword guard?

3. I don't know if I will tune, but if I do what should I tune for the hopper build? For sniper I'm o.k., have a general idea of the tune.

I guess I don't know your weapon setups, but for the hopper I'd take blast guard + moving burst, and for the railgunner I'd go boost run + blast guard. x2 internal is fine too though, if you use the sound balls a lot. Sniper Sight would also be fine for the railgunner if you want to be less obvious.

Standard Maril tuning is 40 tec 40 wlk, leaving fly at 1 and either leaving str at 1 or letting it fall further if you don't plan on using your wonderbit. That applies to both builds. Which stat you max first is entirely up to you; you may go for lower than that as well if you're looking to fit more expensive weapons or parts.

Weapons for my sniper is railgun and a zook for anyone that gets too close. My hopper will duel wield zooks.

For the tunes, wouldn't you have to tune fly and walk because short boost uses boost gauge?

Fly has nothing to do with boost gauge size.

Just wanted to pop in and just lengthen that: boost gauge is affected by your bot type. You leave FLY at one so you don't suffer from being unable to hop/fly/etc.

The only movement cart you should worry about both FLY and WLK is boost run because the combination of em affects your speed.

The combination of them affects all movement carts except sway, actually. People don't focus on both stats for the others because the effect of focusing on both stats is negligible; having wlk may speed up a float dash, but you don't float dash for a solid 8 seconds like how you run with boost run.
