I got a Buckler from him. Don't know which star, but I assume it's 1 star, because I got it twice at 2 star and 3 star.

You can do 3 star if you find all 5 treasures. The soil memory is the one most people don't know how to get. It's located in area 13. To get there, just go into the red gate when you reach area 9.

I don't think it's possible to solo it, the Black Fox makes the shadow clones and 8 towers that keep him hidden. 4 inside the barrier, and 4 outside. You can't break them all without help. While solo he'll occasionally appear for a few seconds, to spawn more clones, and you're free to wait for him, but you will run out of time if you do it that way.

It's possible in theory to two-person Haku Three-star, but I wouldn't recommend it.

also, I found out Crimrose B's beamspear can hit the foxes through the wall, making it an effective melee for the fight.

Good info! I've got her swords laying in my garage for some reason anyway

I haven't tried the sword yet, although I believe it's better to stick with the beamspear for more range.

(I think the sword has STR+ on it so it will hit harder)

Personally, I like the Crim Sword more.

I like the beamspear so I can be random and go "Divine... Buster!" on it =3=

When I get Crimrose to level 9 or so I'll promote her with pink hair and call her Raising Heart o3o

...did you even look at it? The guy spammed nothing but land units.(namely, an S-sizer with combination daggers and a Mightybine customized)

the things you make points on require a support unit, of which no one brought. Also, this was recorded BEFORE teleport bits were implemented.

oh, and the thorn thing? Haku can thorn you, but you can't thorn haku.
