getting 3D will help you drawing since you can rotate model around to watch the body view, part and stuff. i don't think my laptop can handle 3D

Your way of creating 3D is my way of drawing my fanart.^_^ The only difference is I don have the permission of the original artists....I don exactly copy their works that way.....just...imitating...Almost every single part of humaniod characters came from different pics XD
Anyways, does PS CS4 work the same way as your guide said? I'm having an gigantic headache on processing my work using PS.Esp the colouring part.

I followed your instructions using the pentool.
After the 'stroke line' part i pressed enter.Then the lines I created turned pink and remained on the background layer.The other layer I made when doing this part is exactly the same as the bg layer,is this normal?
I already chose the other layer when I did this step,somehow the lines just won't separate from the sketch
I suppose what Im asking for is a way to separate the lines I've draw from the original layer to another layer without copying the sketch^_^~ Just like your guide.

Hmm make sure you have the foreground color is black and the new layer highlighted... XP

Still confused,but kinda had an improvement .I'd just post a snapshot here.
I've used separate paths on different areas, but I regret that now,don know why I can't display all the paths in a same layer in this way.Is there anyway make different paths visible in the same layer at the same time? >

Only 1 path could be shown at a time, and every layer shows the same path(the path selected,'hair part 1' in this screenshot
And,just curious.Why are you using so many layers?Is it vital?
