As for coloring....>_>


Burn tool will darken the color on the layer you'll use it on. If you right click it you can find dodge tool which is the opposite of burn tool. ^_^

-Make sure the colors are under the lineart to make it look nice and solid...:3
-Add some color reference(top left) so the colors stay constant. ^_^
-play with brush opacity for some nice shading effects.

Nice tutorial! I should mention that most of this is also works for GIMP. The buttons are in different places, all the terminology is the same.

Have you ever heard of SAI paint tool?

I find it great personally since it allow us to use the tablet to outline our sketches.
Not to mention that it is also easier coloring in it (as long as you have a tablet, at least for me).

I has no tablet~ (Poor :^() So GIMP will have to do. Thanks for the info though.

um..... Xeno there s a easier way to get good line arts "without" using tablet since most people don't have it

as for me I use a "cracked version of Paint tool Sai" (btw i do have a tablet it's just my pc broke)
