So she's no good for running? I guess she's just for PS guarding. Or is there an alternative build for her?

| ...wtf is a PS guard? No such thing.
And people and their fucking Steel Rider LG.
1. Why would you need to make her run any faster? She's not exactly slow.
2. LG options: if you wanna go big, use Snailbot LG (fuck Steel Rider LG), if you wanna go medium, use Hound LG, if you wanna go small, use Ace Braver LG. stats and cost efficiency wise, Ace Braver LG wins (2 tec 3 wlk with some other penalties you can afford), Hound LG is the Ace Braver LG without the penalties and one less TEC, and it looks great, Snailbot LG... is just Snailbot LG, dat HP boost is always nice.
3. Use Build Arm AM, the most cost efficient AMs for Maril, AccelSaber AMs could work too, see how cost/cap/stats balance out with your bot at the end of the day to help you make your decision.
4. Cute Beret/Dayu Hair Ornament + Berry/Ace Earrings
5. Please take Short Boost+Quick Land with her, like any sane person would.
6. Misside BS IMHO.
7. Misside BS, Build Arm AM and Hound LG can all be obtained from Arcantus, you should be able to farm up quite a few slotted version to make tuning less of a hassle, with the above mentioned parts, you should hit 30 TEC/30 WLK with some tune ups without all that much difficulty.

Rather large, outclassed by other LGs of its cost and size.

Rather large, outclassed by other LGs of its cost and size. Ah, I see. Even so, that's still a rather strong negative reaction. >.>

| It's huge, you might as well go Snailbot LG, it has arguably less hitbox than Steel Rider LG, for only 25 extra cost, you get 40 extra HP, one extra TGH and two extra FLY, if you gonna go big, you'll want those HP and TGH, and FLY is always nice to have. | |

... and I personally hate Steel Rider's LG. >.>;; Well if you feel like scrubbing out, then yah hopper, of course, the question is; why bother making a hopper maril, when you could make a cheaper version with the same generic effectiveness? (hoveron). Since the hopper builds are just "durrr I have a homing weapon and hopping fks your targeting" you miss out on on maril's core weapon, which is pretty fantastic.

| ^ Fucking facepalmed.
Being hoppers does not automatically negate their ability to use sound ball, unlike, say, an AccelSaber or ZSC hopper, Maril hop is there purely as a defensive measure, both of those players do NOT throw themselves into the front line and hop through the entire opposing team under their PS (not willingly at least). They still play their Marils as backliners and stay in medium/long range to snipe down units whilst being out of sight, which means they have the time to charge up sound balls.
And your point about "same generic effectiveness" is rather debatable, but the point is moot since people actually play bots they like appearance-wise.

| I love how you can walk in any direction you want while chargin her musical octave attack. The go fast, have good tracking, but they only target when you have LOS on an enemy, so really short boost might not be bad for one. Ifi ever get a second Maril i'll tryit out.
Whati want to kow is, what do i put on her AM's to sue as weapons? and do i bother keeping her AM2 with its oh so short range yet decent power gun?

| Don't keep the Maril AM for its integrated weapon, it's mediocre at best and not worth it for whatever purpose Maril will serve.
Weapon wise, Blast Bazooka>Handy Bazooka/Bazooka + Ballistic Launcher>Box Missiles, or you could go double zookas + Moving Burst (could add two Misside AMs to that combination). The burst build is obvious the more aggressive build, if you want to play a more chilled and laid back Meril, zooka + missile would obviously be more ideal, Missile/sound ball spam until something gets within the range of zooka.
There are also Breakers (Device/Core/Structure) and Rifles (Scout's/Assault/Raid) you can consider, I'm not a big fan of those but maybe they suite your playstyle, who knows.

Just cause I didn't mention using the core weapon doesn't mean it's completely irrelevant. Nor does hopping mean you're hopping through the ps by default. Considering most bots are going to be fighting at mid range, that Maril will still be hopping a fair amount. From personal experience I will say I've found ART hoppers (Maril included) to be closer to my team than their fellow artillery, often attempting a flank. As for guns, what ever rounds out your firepower probably. Experiment a little. The arm is only really useful for messing up airs that get too close.

| I changed my MM's AM and BS and got past 20 WLK easy. But I can't find an Ace Braver Mech in the shops. Where can you get one. Also is Box Missile+Misside AM recommendable? | |

Ace Braver was in the now-removed Mecha Gara, and his parts can also be found from arena, mission, questing, and friendship rewards. I personally hate Misside AM and wouldn't recommend it, not worth the cost imo.

I personally hate Misside AM and wouldn't recommend it, not worth the cost imo. I found missidew am to be QUITE powerful ,espeicaly if you give it supply tuneups, or something. It's ammo is a HORRIBLE handicap, but a ful lburst from 2 misside am's (thats 2 zooka or nade or something shots per, so 4) plus 2 box missiles or totehr epxplosives hurts like HELL on any air Or anything really.

which is the best with one shield ? Regular Bazooka. Or Box Missile I guess, never tried that for hopping but I heard it works.

which is the best with one shield ? Well, on small bots, like MISSIDE putting itty bitty low to the gorund legs on help with the size problem a bit, but for maril march i agree, her hit box WOULD be too big.
