From personal experience:

CBJP and CBEN has almost the same content. However, some part of their system is less convenient (haku require ticket etc, so you cant spam it); yet other part are more convenient (good epoch drop at times), cheaper uc->rt conversion etc.

Population are very different. CBEN has people playing at ALMOST ALL hour, due to international. CBJP has almost no player at low time, but several hundreds more players at high time.

To sum it up: CBJP players are concentrated, CBEN players are splitt up.

controversial topic:
Maybe forcing ticket on quest was a good idea... concentrate players onto arena and mission(?never tried), while friends can arrange time for quest themselves.
