Boost Gun?

This gun's stats look like absolute garbage, it's an RT gun, and to top it off it has 160 cost. I've been staring at this thing every day, thinking "there has to be something more to this." Obviously I'm not going to buy it just to check though; has anyone bought this thing and tried it out? Is there anything redeeming about it (sans +3 fly) that isn't apparent from its stats?

It's just a burst fire single gun

Just switch for a Custom Gun, or if you've cost to waste, Motorized gun.

I don't have one, I don't even know what it does. That's why I made this thread to ask. :/

Motorized gun is basically a shorter ranged, handgun version of raid rifle.

Maybe I phrased that badly; I have motorized guns, I know what those do.

It's quite accurate at short-mid range as it IS an accelgun, but the downside is the 210 range for an accelgun. You'll most likely use it on a fast unit that can dodge.
The firepower provided from its interval isn't good enough to make holes on enemies. But it has loads of ammo, that's what make it at least decent.

You're better off with an 8-Vulcan with that cost, and raid rifle beat it in terms of practicality.

I'm going to go ahead and necro this.

All that I can say is that it's really underrated and needs more love.

After learning more about it I can agree with the above. It's extremely popular in JP, is highly accurate, and has awesome DPS. Plus +1 wlk +3 fly is always welcome.

Which I'm pretty sure is where they got theirs from in JP, it'd be 3s if it were gara and 1s if it were shop.
