Melee Help

I have two melees : Ouka and Hu and wen i use it agasint other LNDs i usually lose
1. I have low HP or Take more dmg
2. Im slower than them so i cant run away

I dont know what Catridges to use >.< Do i need all the Guards ? Should i get Boost Run?

Any parts i can make my Robot Faster or better damage o.o

I also noticed that most Oukas have these booster (BS) that looks REALLY fast o.o not the rear wings o.o and i dont know wat part it is or Wich bot it came from or how to get it

How do you lose when using Ouka, if you don't mind me asking?

And give Hu 2x enhance internal weapon, and 2x viper shields, spam core weapon.

Marvel at clipping errors, lol. I really think that's the only problem with the core, not lag like everyone says (that seems to just be perception), but the fact that core spammers frequently clip through terrain and wind up in the floor or a wall for a second.

With Ouka I could see losing fights if you get hit first, her TGH isn't that high, her offense is her defense for the most part. If the OP took a swing at a Byne's face for example, that would probably result in the Byne stun-locking the crap out of Ouka with pilebunkers.

The booster thing might be boost run, or propeller joints.

In terms of guards, you have to reflect on your own playing style and see what seems to affect you the most. As your style changes, this may also change, so it will always be a perpetual question.

One thing to note though, is that in a mirrored and balanced situation, the person with the anti-'self' guard should in fact, have the absolute advantage. So for example, iirc, Ouka will have a sword guard that minimizes damage by sword weapons by 30%. So in a fair situation, if Ouka A has sword guard, and Ouka B does not, Ouka A should win most if not all of their duels. How you achieve this 'situation' though is up to you.
