Living in the Fast Lane:Accel Saber Discussion

The thing about Accel Saber that I like is how fast it is and the fact that the tech level is respectable enough to use guns. It has a built in melee option for literally running over the opponent in your way. I also can equip a second head so you can gain an added benefit for a little cost.

The main drawbacks are the cost (but it is a respectable cost), and with a propeller aiming is a *****.

I want to keep exploring the possibilities for this mech but I don't want to get to the point where I need to scrap it. I cant say this mech is widely used but I'd like some tips.

Right now I have an Auto Magnum and a Handy SMG with a destructor head.

get short hop a zook and a shield and give it boost run too.

short hop for hopping

boost run for chasing after people who try to escape.

Booring...and froglanders are better hoppers. Not every land has to be a hopper, or melee spam.

Might wanna try giving grenades a try though for the ground saturation.

i dont use my accel in pvp much but i do use it for questing and for show because of his speed

The speed has been handy in PvE but I'm wondering if it is viable in PvP and what king of equips would make it so.

It seems I will be doing a lot of running and gunning so the SMG seemed to be the logical choice. I suppose a grenade would make a useful second accessory for a little AOE damage.

The speed would make me capable of dodging any guided missiles and the SMG is good for lads that try to get close. Though I think I need sword guard...

Freaking seconded. With enough Capacity carts you can put Asura AMJs on him and go up to six grenades. When the enemy sees the burning wave of grenade death coming at them, they will cry... and run... and possibly die anyway.

the problem is about actually hitting the enemy with the grenades

Aiming with grenades is indeed tough. Having all that power with no direction is not too enticing. I suppose I would need to get int close to be effective or i could sneak up on an unwary foe to bring the hurt.

Any ideas on cartridges?

also hoppers are still decent in here. My friend top 5s with an accel hopper so stick that in your ear.

Hopper carts(short boost, quick land, boost run)
And dont forget to paint it RED...

Just aim over their heads so your nades either blow up in their face while it falls and so the nades go a farther distance.

Okay so I have Increase capacity and Blast Guard already so...

Blast Guard
Increase Capacity(How many?)x4
Short Boost
Quick Land
Boost Run

The bazooka and Fizz head work like a charm.
