Stuck at updating. Any ideas?

Hey there,

All of a sudden, my CB doesnt want to run.

Long story short, I downloaded a fresh installer from main website and reinstall, update my graphic card etc.

But no matter what I do, I encounter the same problem!  



It's always stuck at 89%. If I forced quit via Task Manager, it will come to a stop at 50% when re open the launcher



Any ideas what could be going wrong?

EDIT#1: Just because why not, I went and tried Shidokun's CB files (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9BvkKdKUinSYVBEeTl0SzhnSWM/view) sadly, it did not work for me

Is CB's folder located in the hard disk where you boot from?

Yes. I'm on a laptop so I only have one hard disk.

I'm beginning to think that the problem lies with the server itself since another person on Cosmic break's FB homepage posted the same picture very similar to mine problem.

I literally tried everything in the book:

• reinstall - to including download fresh installer, changing install location, making sure to delete Cyberstep and CB folder after I uninstall
  
• restart
  
• update everything - graphic driver, directx, sound driver, and java even
  
• Giving the "Freeze" a chance overnight. Still at the same spot
  

I think my only solutions are to either wait for CB to fix this (yeah right), or to download a working CB folder with the current update all ready to go from somebody.

Speaking of which, do you want to be super cool and upload your CB folder? I can give you 500k UC xD That's all I got that's worth something haha.

If not then it's all good, I understand.

Gens would be nice, I need to clean my folder again lmao. Its 10gb atm AGAIN.

EDIT: I;m still downloading btw, so when I'm done I'll let you know if this works. But I'm pretty certain that this will!

you know what? i am experiencing this too on a friend's computer. if only some kind soul would make a .rar of their entire cb folder, then make a torrent out of it and post the torrent share link here.

The link that @Shidokun posted works fine. I doubt it will be any faster than google drive vs 1 person seeding.

The folder is in a rar file. Google download servers are quite fast so you easily can reach ~2mb/s download.
