Ok so I tried messing around with Diane for a bit and i am currently starting to enjoy using her although Im not sure about my build and I have a few questions should I go for weap tunes? like Force? Speed?

opinions are much appreciated

38 FLY is law and you should NEVER EVER go lower than that on artillery bots.

How about this instead? This might work better, and it has Fast Recovery for help with pesky Status Effects.

thanks for all the replies

So here I tried redoing the build but I cant get past 33 tec with 38 fly and 1 GRapA on each arm

Handheld is pretuned btw
Just pointing that out

you dont need str so change some of those alpha's to beta, and if you have too much capa you aren't gonna use just skip a capa cart and change it for something else

It's better to have the tunes on a single arn. The idea behind this is that the tuned fist will stun the target so the bazooka shells and the other fist will be guaranteed a hit.

stun doesn't matter. You'll either be shooting at long range airs where you don't care about stun or you'll be shotting glide boost CV airs where you can't stun them regardless.

imo boost run is pretty bad for alpha artillery. It's really good on single weapon artillery.

I find stun to be important when engaging long range targets because it makes it easier to close distance. Also because it drops them out of the sky.
Even if whatever it is you're shooting at has CV, 1 full tuned arm is better than 2 half tuned arms.

majority of the time stunning it will just result in a slight drop and reset the height gauge unless you have something with ridiculous stun rate.

I don't think that's how doing damage works but if the point you are trying to make is "1grapid is not enough to hit a glide boosting air while 2grapids is" the answer is to double tune both arms rather than settling for just hitting with one arm and having the other do nothing, but that's just my take on things.

Yes, that does work. I'm assuming OP isn't going to capa tune, which is why I suggested 1 arm tuning.

both of the builds he posted have been sitting on nearly 100 free capa, other issues nonwithstanding.

I calced it and it's pretty easy to fit 4grapids on diana without a capa tune, if you're alright with having 38 tec instead of 40. I did this in about 2 minutes so there's probably more optimal tuning routes that can get more stats, this is just a proof of concept.
