The 4th and final installment of the Freddy's Trilogy has arrived!

Five Nights At Freddy's 4 Five%2BNights%2BAt%2BFreddy%2B4

I admit that I didn't have high expectations for this one at first, especially since I felt this would be an unnecessary sequel done to make the fans happy, and lately I've been burned too much by terrible unneeded sequels done just to please fans (like with Assassin's Creed Unity, Rebellion Story, Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare, etc). Turns out though, it's actually another prequel (and unlike FNaF2, you get to see that early on), and it actually fits into the series well without ruining things.
Hooray for not being an unwanted sequel and ruining the series!

This time, you aren't playing as a security guard, or even in a restaurant, or Haunted House Ride, or anything like that. In this one, you play as a young cowardly child in his bedroom, who tries to withstand each night of being haunted by distorted versions of classic Freddy's characters in his sleep, up until the 5 nights leading to his Birthday Party at Freddy's. No security cameras or anything, you just have watch and listen closely, and know when to shine your light, and when to shut a door (though you can only shut one door at a time), and check everything when you can. The animatronics look way scarier than before, probably being how the young boy in this sees them as. Also, you get to move around more and can check other areas. It also kinda turns the first game around in a sense.

This one also plays into a SECOND Childhood Fear many of us may have had. In addition to probably being scared of animatronics in rides at a young age, it also plays into a fear many of us may have had at a young age, of Monsters lurking in our closet and under our beds at night, who will only be warded off by the light.

Freddy Fazbear here is much different. He also now has these three "Baby Freddys" coming out of him, who come out from under the bed when you aren't looking. When they show up, they crawl up on top of the bed, and you have to make them retreat back under by shining your flashlight on them. If all three Baby Freddys appear on the bed for too long, Freddy himself will then jump out and get you.
Bonnie and Chica are much like in the first game, coming out of the left and right halls. You have to shine your light when they are at the back of the hall to make them go away. If they are near the door, listen for the heavy breathing, and shut the door and hold it if you hear it, or else they will attack (don't shine the light on them when they are right next to the doorway).
Foxy now tries to come out of the closet at times, in a way that partially references his older role in the Pirate Cove. You have to keep checking on it or else he might attempt to come out. If he does try to appear, hold the closet shut until he disappears. Strangely, when he disappears, a Foxy Plush Toy appears in his place (possibly leading up to the Childhood Fears stuff).
There are also three more new enemies too. Also, a DLC is set to appear on Halloween.

The Minigames are still in this one too. Like FNAF 2 and 3, there are still cutscene minigames.
There's also a new one called "Fun With PlushTrap," which plays in-between most nights. In this Minigame, you have a Mini Plush-Doll of Springtrap (or more accurately here, Spring Bonnie), who is sitting on a chair. It's kinda like Red Light/Green Light, with Red Light being when you turn the light on, and Green Light when you turn it off. You have to try and bait PlushTrap to land on the X near you, before the time is up. If you win, you get to start the next night later on at 2AM rather than 12AM, which can be helpful.

Anyone have anything to say about this one?
