Raven HL. God knows I tried. 2 capas and 6 weapon tunes later and she is still just utterly underwhelming.

it might be (subjectively) fun or enjoyable but it's (objectively) huge as FUG so you get hit by everything and it has mediocre damage even after being buffed. being a vehicle carrier thing is as much a bad thing as it is a good thing cuz u just get gayed by aoe stuff (which is like everything).

The drop rates are worse (for everything, not just the parts) in later zones. It's best to just return after 3rd or 4th one and start from beginning.

Well.... if you do clan battles, yah know you can exchange 2 coins for 1 lvl 5 or 1 lvl 8 remover o wo... hmmm the other way would be with star coins (if you have too many of those).

Super UC garapon has lvl removers but its still a gamble, yah need to get silvers though. You even might end up paying more uc than just buying it in the shop lel.

1. was broken on release and nerfed before even a week passed(in CBEN). If they undid the nerf they did back then, she'd probably still be underwhelming because of the metagame. She's not actually underpowered, she's just not useful because of the things that are played today.
2. glitched/nonfunctional. Her melee is actually really good. She has some issues that could easily be addressed, but even with that she'd still probably be underwhelming just due to having elsalotte base stats which everyone complains about forever. She could be fixed by adding more slots but the main problem is that she was made based on an outdated template.
4. Not even bad.
5. Actually a good unit. She has some nonfunctional features which could be bugfixed but the features that do work right make her pretty strong. Try getting good.

Raven HL is actually really good at killing airs. Sadly her damage distribution makes her completely useless against anything with blast guard and her ranges aren't long enough for her to actually fight the airs she wants to fight.

you've never seen someone make something specifically to be used with dylan arkam. When you don't need to tune mobility on something, you can have ridiculous weapon tunes and stats. You can make extremely high damage LND alphas. Dylan was perfectly usable, you're just a little bitch.

She didn't lose to high DPS airs before.
She was never low mobility.
She was perfectly usable on release and they've buffed her twice when she was always fine. She was broken, she wasn't annoying to play against. If you died horridly to her as an air, it was your fault for disrespecting her. You didn't just get hit by near-invisible projectiles the size of a vox explosion from nowhere.
You're just another one of the people who think that if something isn't broken, it's useless.

Damage is only sub par when everything else does retardly high damage values.
Lisel is a bad example, since she's not balanced at all.

Natascha gets something, but loses something, and she can switch back when not needed. Most people suck with her because they decide to stay in siege the whole time, even when they are not using her cannon or attacking the things they should.

Her job as an art, is, and I think that it's pretty obvious, to kill airs, her siege mode unlocks a weapon that is only good against things that are weak to blast, usually, airs, her damage reduction is best against airs. How about, get some mobility, mobility carts and use that against things that you can't tank? It's not really that hard. Her missiles aren't related to the siege mode, so, why to be so immobile?
Not everything needs to be "hold button to deal damage", and not everything is that way.

Lisel is one of those bots that is too good at doing it's job, and if you learn how to use her, she's actually rather broken since she can melt other types too, which goes beyond her type, though a certain cart can decrease the effectiveness of that, still, she's a rather dumb unit.

And you can see that when CS decided to clone her weapon and give it to Toybox girl (without the shell change function) and then balanced it in a way that it's not retarded, despite being a really strong weapon against airs. It got downsides that balances it. It can't spam 3 bullets that pull enemies towards it's AoE, it doesn't fire with just a click, it has to charge before firing and it has a considerable cooldown after firing it. Then there's other things that makes it so the cannon doesn't get too good, like her capa not allowing her to equip a million weapons (and unlike Lisel, she has no locked weapons), her capa is limited enough for you to equip a single good weapon but still skimp on certain WP tunes so you can get high stats which in turn makes it so that unless you don't get certain tunes or go with a really cheap weapon you won't really had the capa to put weapon tunes on her cannon. That's a lot of things that bots like Lisel doesn't have to deal.
That Toybox Girl variant isn't bad at all, but in a game where so many broken things run around, a bot as balanced as she actually is, does feel rather underwhelming. Though it is to note that TBG EG has a rather low cost when compared to units like Lisel.

BTW, Lisel isn't well designed, she's broken. Her design when it comes to gameplay is terrible, though that's also to blame that CB doesn't allow people to change the weapon order.

If Lisel if 'broken' then Eris/Crystas should be considered outright hacking.

I mean, if we are going to talk about bad designs why not go for the most broken units on the entire game?

- Eris (with bullshit invisible ability and wing defenses)
- Homura (that behaves like a fusion of ART and LND) with a blade attack which ignores the robot-type defenses.
- Crystas. (Aiming? What the hell is that?)
- Kal/Aleixa. (Hit these robots may be considered a bug by CS)

Compared to these game-breaking mechanics, Lisel is actually a balanced robot. Its wonderful seeing an team that is 80% AIR switch to LND/ARTs after 2~3 Lisels enter the match.

Gravity well is a good measure against AIR players who think attaching crystas BS/AM to their robots makes them pro. The same ones who take 1st place with 0 deaths 99% of the time they are on 5.0+ rooms.

Melt is not as good as it sounds, due to the arc trajectory of the bullet, low ammo and small bullet.


CS will never balance the game. The only thing that keeps this game alive is their actual 'give a chance of free/broken robots to players so they spend money on protects and harmonics' business model.

Clan fight. Level limit removers and movement cartridges are dirt cheap in the Clan Coin Store.

I really like his core, though. Jet Falcon's reboost is in his core and usable without a stock-parts setup. He also has a BS slot to go with it. I really wish that I'd scored a second one.

I dicked around with his arms in a non-stock alphastrike setup, and I couldn't really find a combination that I was happy with. I have 60 cost and 3 slots free on my planned Jet Falcon stock-parts build. I was considering putting three shooters onto one railgun and just going with that and 600+HP. I could also go with one High Shooter on one railgun and a Force on each psygun, if i lower my HP slightly.

I welcome feedback on my proposed weapon tuning paths.

dark hide isn't even that good. She can't even jump while invisible, and she can't hop, so she can't hit anything that isn't on the ground. She can't defend herself, and if she takes enough damage she drops out of it. It's been years since dark hide was actually broken. It's an interesting mechanic but going glint has been better ever since 7/19/2012.
"Wing defense" is the same "hold primary fire to get shield" that half the modern melees have access to. Dark hide eris gets all guard during it but it's still basically the same old shit. The ones that don't have that usually have a main weapon that allows them to stun things from a distance. Some things even have both these days. Eris is only strong because she can get a lot of stats.

Homura has the same movement as anything else.
Homura has the same damage types as everything else. Her slashes "ignore defenses" in the same way that roar arms ignore defenses. The only thing special about her is that she doesn't need to aim and has long range. I've talked about this numerous times so I'm not going to go over exactly what she does AGAIN because I'm tired of typing it out.

Crystas sucks dick ever since the remote change. "what is aiming" could be said about half the shit in the game. Again there's alpha air weapons that are much better than crystas.

Yes, bicycles are actually broken. You're right about that. There's simply too few things that actually counter them and the things that do counter them are pretty bad at countering things that aren't them.
