It's most likely the Optimize Resolution option that's causing this.

been doing arcantus for the parts and was thinking to myself, is there a difference as to which path to take? (besides the difficulty), are there better drops for taking the red paths or what?
also, i've never gotten to the end due to being bored and simply just restarting to do the low lvl ones since its easier and faster, (87's the most i've done) should i keep going till i hit the end or is it better to keep restarting every time.

At areas 120+ or so it gets stupidly hard to kill anything even with 10k+ HP and the likes so reaching to the final area is basically just to stretch your e-peen.

There used to be a point to going to specific areas.. like trying to farm Box Missiles and Handy Bazookas before they were thrown into UC Garapon. You had to go to certain zones and kill certain enemies that had those items in their drop pool.

Now that Arcantus has outdated garbage, there is no point in going beyond Lv50ish.

(I got about 40 weather item drops per hour in Arcantus with x5 tickets on, farming until the second outpost and then warping back.)

i went up to the 3rd stage with 3x, would get 7-10 per stage depending on how long id stay, i usually just stayed in that area until i got my second one. i just finished too, man that was tiring.

i honestly would have wanted them blue balls at least i can put them harms/prots to work

The red gates seem to have a higher respawn rate than the blue gates, so if you can take down mobs efficiently, the red paths will grant more opportunities to roll for item drops. It won't matter much, though if you end up having to run for the exit early because of taking too much damage.

...Also, losing a promising arcantus run to a disconnection error literally right next to the exit gate is really irritating.

I'm totally going to make a K Nana BS ALE Lily.. eventually.

I'm sure her long range sub makes it so there's a global cooldown
effect will run out by the time cooldown ends

If it does, I'll just use the buff to LMB the BS bazooka with the psyguns. I really like the bazooka and intend on tuning it.. (probably two force tunes and a GRB.) I can just use those weird missiles without the LR buff, if it prevents their use.

I finally rolled the K Nana, last month, and I feel obligated to put it on a bot. ALE Lily seems like a good candidate.

ALE Lily capacity is garbage. Especially since you are fatally addicted to broad radar.

You could do more with wardus hd2.

I realised that K Nana's bs are pretty good. Not a bad thing to have like 7 of those....
