How the Hell to play in todays Meta?

Fustrated cause I had to leave for a year, and Im stuck getting in 1v1 with a full tuned bot and getting my ass handed to me.

Watch out for cannon ballers and fast cars

Play support (lala and any other bot that can give buffs) and farm trees and hope your team wins. Avoid 5.0 and below rooms since it only gives cards to the winners.

card event meta =/= regular meta
they're similar but not the same w

Card event meta = No matter what happens everyone's going to be a 110% turbo faggot because they want free stuffs.

Non-event meta = You can occasionally find rooms where people are using "fun" bots (Or bots that are toned down/low tier), other times it's a toned-down event of a card event meta.

Step 1: buy RT or ask around for a free account like a poor Engliss person on CBPU
Step 2: If u get RT you roll garapon, Until u get good shit or a badass support score whore
- People like Mainstream generally need to be tunneled like a little bitch because they heal.
You kill medic, the easier it is to win.
Step 2.5: You just got the robot, but you need to level that sh15 with some cartz F1rsT, go to gr0und area
Most likely Pro ass crown ranks will have that locked so you can try to s0l0 like a real G, if you know the route.
Step 3: To survive meta in today's ticket even campaign, when you are about to join a room
LoOk at the people on both teams before you join, you look at the ranks, if there are more crown ranks
On that te4m you join that one. If you see niggas like KtD, Rukuto, Astral_god, Diabolical U join that te4m
If you join and get places on the other team with not alli of crown ranks, you leave the room until
Someone else joins the other team and you can join with the op people
Step 4: you have like 100 seconds count down or some Bs,  pick a support like lala even if that bitch is 1s
Or fluene, Orin, Rone the easy support scoring musicians. Or you can pick a medic like melfi, Regina and hope to get top 4 in support or heal. 4g0T 2 mention rouche = easy support
-you can also be a little bitch and go with the easy top 10 and bad ass heal, pull out a bubble healer like trintia, buff devastator, MEDI gay angel, or the lewd ass nurse Amy V. You take that shit and spam heal the fuck out of heal, try healing the enemies too. Bubble heal will guarantee you top heal.
-Make you you got some Gay ass Wb item for fluene, or some Ammo item shit for Lala cause, that lag up in arena b3
so 1nt3nZ3 y0u G0n N33d that Ammo Supply.
Careful not to heal in the back or the op lands will come to REKT u
-If you don't get any of those op ass support buffers/healers if you got chibi you can do that sh1t 2 m8
step 5: You keep repeating step 4 until you get tickets, and roll tickets in shop, You don't roll mecha's becauz3 mecha sux, 2015.
You wanna roll your virtual sex appeal moe, that otaku's drool over, because they suck at socializing irl.
step 6: rage because you roll doubles, tripples, keep repeating step 4, and collect 65 Ticket to get mikoto tric0l0r dango you can pick a support 0r a Melee, and complain about having to use your deluxe coins on getting their parts when u can use coin for b3ttr shitz


Guide to 2015 meta

The most important aspect to survival in the current meta, assuming you want to actually try and do things and not sit in the back and pray for your support score to be high enough for cards while there's umpteen arts also competing in that category, is learn what you're up against. A year is a long time to be away, and tons of new things have been introduced. Not just new bots, but entire new systems (core tuning, drive system) have been introduced all in the past year alone, which has created wide changes to the viability of many things. The nature of what constitutes a threat has changed, and the only way to get on top of it is to start studying. This will be the case at any time one is gone for so long - this year just happens to have been one with a lot of changes to both old and new.

Your first step will probably be to read up here on the basics of core tuning and drive levelling. And apply those new technologies to the bots you do have.

After that, you'll want to then take a good look at what bots you do have and wish to run, and figure out what the biggest threats to it are. This could be trial-and-error in UW to actually see what's a threat, or it could be just figuring out what your role is and then asking what the more notable threats are. In the end, a lot of it boils down to hands-on-learning - you're going to get your face beaten up a lot in order to learn what it is that your opponents are using and what each bot looks like and does, but short of rolling the bots yourself and learning that holy smokes the community doesn't actually use all the potential of the bot, that's the best way to really figure things out. That, or as you get beat up by new things, ask about them to get some better advice.

In current cases, airs tend to be some of the safer bots to play - many commoner arts aren't actually useful for anti air either because the bot itself is bad at it or few people playing the bot actually take proper advantage of the bot's true capabilities. This gives you easier access to make strikes and then retreat from safe altitudes to get healed by the numerous healers that tend to spring up during card events. It's not going to be full impunity, based on the density and composition of the enemy team, but it's the most likely route for starting. If you want to try that as a way to start to see what kinds of bots are out there, that's probably a good route to start before digging into your personal preferences. Unless airs are your preference in which case well that's where you go.

Learn what everyone else does and learn what you can actually do. That's the strongest way to go about it.

understand your role in arena

airs: safeplay, shoot at anything you want
lands(melee): Hit supports and artillery
lands(gunner): shoot airs, supports, whatever is in range
supports: generally healing/jamming
artillery: shoot anything in range. Generally airs will not be in range so the primary targets are melee that aren't hitting you, and ranged lands

Killing things is more important than doing damage. Kills convert to more score, especially for people with stars, and things that are dead can't heal. The number one thing to do is to prevent the enemy from healing by making them dead.

The Only "Cancer Level" Card I have is Fract Girl, But In all honesty?

I dont like using her. She feels Cheap and Overpowered, unlike the satisfaction I get using Connie or Lily Rain BF.

That's a good thing challenging yourself against those odds.

But again, different people find their satisfaction in a very different way than yours so you gotta keep in mind about that too.

The only time i use armada is when someone is using cancer bots on me. fight fire with fire. i do agree that its too easy. i prefer fun bots like lux and renny. viable but not over powered.

If there's no Fluene, spam items. Unless Lala's running around.
