CB Client folder (06-09-2016)

People in this clan kept asking me to upload my derp cb folder because they can't update their client.
And I felt like that I should share it with the people here too o wo.

Note to myself: Check if you saved your account ID and Pass before uploading the whole folder. And do not assume that it got saved in a different folder (In My Documents for example because CB doesn't even have one).


Oh, I heard that using a VPN (USA/JP IP) would fix this problem too. The easiest vpn to use would be tunnelbear.

Shido make sure you delete the .lock files and the content of the Capture folder first.

Ah.... now i get it. Its the derp skins from my client that made is so big xD hahahahahaha

Edit: Nah you know what? I'm just going to download the setup and update it that way. After that im going to upload it - w- . Too lazy to delete shet from the folder.
Edit2: Did CS always had a download speed of 2.5mb/s? That's quite fast o wo (Although I prefer a download speed of 6-7mb/s :3)
Edit 3: Hmmm.... seems I also get the error. Well I guess I need to delete things from the folder...

I think the option.ser files contains your save login and pass data.

Yeah, I realised that after thinking for a while, so! Its time to change my pass :3

Edit: K, I succesfully copied the needed files to a clean client folder (setup). Going to upload that soon. Its 1.1gb this time! o/ (Man what did I even have in my orginal folder). And yes, seems my id/pass was saved in the option.ser file. Damn that was quite risky xD

Guide on the current update issue:
Step 1: Download a VPN software. (I use tunnelbear)
E.g: Tunnelbear, SoftEther VPN, etc.
Step 2: Select and connect to a Japan VPN.
Step 3: Open the game client.
Step 4: Disconnect the VPN 'AFTER' the game finishes updating. (or uninstall)
NOTE: No guarantees that this will work for everyone.

If it doesn't work, just download my client folder which is already updated

Dude you're cool enough to share your files with others, it's just sad that the game itself is getting shit from all these updates.

Because this derp problem is still here, I uploaded the latest client folder for the ppl who can't update it :3

Instead of uploading the whole client folder just upload the "Download" file. Today's update was just 511 KB.

I have been looking for this "update" file. I can't really find it o wo. Mind to say where to find it?

You can find that "Download" folder in "update" folder That folder will stay until your client update the game itself, means you'll have to save that folder while your client is downloading and updating the client. You won't find the folder if the game/client is 100% updated.

I haven't tested it yet but I think the launcher will still download the update because it only checks if the whole folder is up to date and not if theres any "update" files in the folder.

I won't update this topic anymore. According to C$, this problem got fixed already.
