Pretty sure this.... I think they invested a lot into onigiri and it's not doing well as expected so they just pick the current most popular game from their list and give it a makeover with onigiri's engine and thought it will attracts people, but all they end up is a rushed job.
Well I do like how they try to balance things up while they are doing it, but lacking of assortment (especially when the high end closed beta unlockables all stuffed into the gara), and game modes is seriously killing the game's hype.
Especially when the game don't even had the customize ability of old cosmic break, parts got no effects other then size and hp difference, certain parts can't even be used on other core (like brickgale's weaponize am, bugsy's bs, ghost raider's lg etc) making stuff bot specific like how moe bot works in old cb greatly kills off the interesting portion.
Ends up you be seeing people deploying stock bot again and again because customization is non-existent which only difference is cart assortment and it greatly turns people off from repetitive playing. (It's like playing long hours of arcade fighters type game.)

We didn't have a real cb beta tho you have to remember that. Cosmic Break had 2 years of content to deal with when it first released to en. Cosmic break came out in 2008 and I am sure no one played the 2008 jp beta.

Hell look at the huge difference from 2009 cb compared to what we got in 2010.

I played CB in 2008 and i can confirm it had more content than CB2, and both pve/pvp. No where near as what CBEN beta was like of course because as you said there was plenty of content already available when CBEN started. CB2 beta is barebones compared to CBJP beta.

I had same issue when i wanted to try cb2 a few days ago. It's because of using old client folder i think, i solved it by deleting the whole client and fresh download from their website. Should fix it.

Well, had to happen(since ya know, apart 4(2 starters) moe and 1 bot(the blue one in shop; dunno the name ) they are recycling ALL units from CB.
