A local Husky shelter was attacked by swarm of bees after a hive got blown off a tree, two of the dogs died and several are still in critical condition after swallowing many bees whilst defending themselves, the other 20 or so of them made it out alright but traumatized ;_;

Bees suck.

Honey bees are cool.. unless they're Africanized. Fuck wasps, hornets, borer bees and any Africanized bees. I've destroyed 3 Mud Dauber (wasps that build nests from mud) nests and over twelve regular wasp nests, this summer.

I had a honey bee follow me all day, last Saturday. I was trying to work on shit in my backyard, and the little shit kept following me around. I almost killed her, thinking that she was a wasp.. until I had a closer look.

Unfortunately, I'm an insectophobe, so I tend to run and hide under the blanket when a wasp flies into the house. My family has had several mud dauber nest issues back years ago, luckily my dad don't give a shit and just fucks them up. Though I've gotten a few frags off them with an eletric swatter in recent years, and jesus, fried mud daubers smell terrible.

Honey bees are chilled, too bad they have the tendency to fly into my house and get lost.

Apparently the bees that attacked the huskies were africanized, first time I've heard the term though, don't really know the distinction.

AFAIK, "Africanized" bees are killer insects.

The name "killer insect" implies that there are insects that are incapable of killing.

I remember, like ten years ago, everyone was so afraid that Afracanized "killer" bees were going to take over the US. Protections mapped their spread throughout all of the continental states.. which were incorrect.. as people didn't consider that the Afracanized bastards don't like cold weather. Luckily, winters in Tennessee are cold as fuck, so all of our bees are still friendly.


The only things our honeymakers have to worry about are mite infestations.

I played halo when I still lived in a...ugh...whatchacalltheseinengish? A commune? With rooom mates? we played it and I mde fun of people, because they found the controls too hard and the game to fast paced.

I hate 1st person view games in general. They say it makes you feel as if you were part of the game, but that's simply not true. I only know that I'd never risk my life for the steaming pile of shit they call humanity. I rather play a videogame and eat sweets.
