Alot of these are not good for alpha builds but they do all have Moving Burst. Alot of mechs that isn't fit for alpha has MB carts. C$ just puts carts at random.

| I'm more curious as to why would people even look away from Amateus series when it's one of the best, if not THE best M art core available for every possible purpose, and it has a core weapon for whatever the hell you need it for. It's in frigging shop, what more could you ask? | |

"MB" was always more of a gimmick than a core build concept until alpha air raiders became a thing followed by rouche AM nonsense, bots don't used to be designed around the "alpha" idea, rather, it was just an added tool of amusement. God fobid people try have fun with something like an alpha Maril rather than actually being competitive.

Same reason why they pick pacifar over air raid.

| They pick Pacifar over Air Raider because Pacifar is actually just flat out better and it was only realized when certain someone decided to look beyond building MB around core weapons.
Grand Dug and Ama are far more on par, whereas Dug has more cap, allowing for higher stats hence higher mobility or damage output, Ama get's an extra decent weapon as well far better tankiness.

| I run Victory BD3 cause of his rediculously high cost capacity and his access to mini long range bit. Long range makes missiles rediculously OP, and having 2 misside AMs and 2 box missiles takes full advantage of it for an alpha for a relatively low cost. if possibru, u can give it asura AMJs to give it moar misside AMs and missile launchers. Just be warned that mobility is going to suck XD | |

| No Amateus since regular's capa isn't enough
Nova's core is a ammo sink considering you shoot six and half of them never connect
I can't get my grubby fingers on a Muchi

| You don't need Quick Land on alpha art. Quick Jump is always nice but nothing to warrant "much better choice" when Ama has his set of perks. | |

| I always thought Quick Land was a higher priority over Quick Jump, especially in tandem with Quick Boost. | |

| For hophop, yes, but you don't hophop an alpha art, Short Boost is primarily for getting you airborne quickly, hence I'd say Short Boost > Quick Boost > Quick Jump > Quick Land. | |

| I figured if your not going to hop alpha, which is toptier funny, its Float Dash, considering hopping is ass without QLand since faster repositioning and mobility are pretty important nowadays | |

| Float Dash works, but Short Boost overall is just better for maneuvering over ledges or to gain height for anti-melee purposes and to get a better Accel Roll. For an Art, only time I would actually recommend Float Dash over Short Boost for an Art would be for some form of long range homing alpha. | |

| Alba cannot hop, and considering he's best as a long range unit, float dash suits him fine. | |
