You have arms? You have legs? They are functional within reasonable parameters? If yes to all these (with some exceptions even if there's a no in there) then you are able to work... If there's nobody willing to pay you to work, on the other hand, then I can sympathize.

If there's nobody willing to pay you to work, on the other hand, then I can sympathize. Or in my case, it's a combination of the latter(noone willing to pay) -and- having a severely limited skill-set(data-entry/front-office/reception, plus being 38 and male; I'm not physically disabled, I am just NOT cut out for physical labor, for reasons I would rather not discuss here)...that and the fact that I recently relocated to New Zealand from the States...ZERO luck finding work here! But there's always a way to get Rt, especially if they bring over the UC to Rt feature present in CBJP....

| I have to mention this as a fact. Even if you say you're unable to get a proper source of income, There's usually an easy way to make money off of things, One of the biggest and easiest categories to make a profit off of things is with computers. You can always fix them for a friend for 20-50 bucks, Or even install an antivirus. If theres no one willing to pay for that you can ALWAYS go online. Seriously. It's not that hard. Look up someone willing to pay a bit for graphical designing. They make 500 dollars a pop ATLEASTAnd if you're not even good with photoshop, Or just lack the imagination to make stuff up, Theres always a douche bag route in making a stable amount of income a day. Online advertising. You know how many idiots out there don't know how to script out advertisments? Over 80% of people using computers. I'm one of those douche bags that force pop ups onto your screen when you're going to your favorite porn website to release some stress. That's right. I helped them code up that live jasmin crap. I get that pop up for me to, But only because I help pay for myself. If you're a woman and have no freaking way to make money because you lack skills at doing stuff, Or you're too busy in college to keep up that second job, You can always find a "sugar daddy" Sure it may not sound morally right, But if you plan things out correctly, You can keep your virginity, Free up your schedule up to 3/4ths, And get paid around a thousand dollars a month, Just to go out to dinner with some rich person who will pay for everything when you're with him. - Spoiler:
Yes it actually pays to be a girl who keeps their virginity, Don't you wish you had a vagina now?

They make 500 dollars a pop ATLEAST THIS, best job I had back in high school. Sadly, the amature graphic design market has kinda withered as the more serious ones went and got a degree in it. Still good for quick money, but you can't make nearly as much as you could back in the late 1990s (without a degree, portfolio and references, that is)... - Desu wrote:

Just to go out to dinner with some rich person who will pay for everything when you're with him. This is more true in Japan and Europe than in other places with more... How should I put it... Close-minded sociological standards. - Desu wrote:

Works for traps too, though it's a bit more dangerous, unless you're truthful in your advertising.

Create a time machine and make as many references you can use while you're in the nineties. Then come back living a rich man. - Feign wrote:

Untrue, It's just more easily found than most couples in JP or the UK. There are hidden underground sites where you can freely discuss these topics which are well moderated and actually require you showing proof that you won't do any low brow things. - Feign wrote:

Not that dangerous, If you know you won't get caught that easily. - Spoiler:
Yes, I had to, Lost a bet, Oddly enough, I gained a few girl's phone numbers out of it. Though i can't call them as it would reveal my identity easily.

If I had a time machine, I'd be a bit more... How should I put it... Creative than that. - Spoiler:
Give detailed and accurate descriptions of European Land Ownership Law to Native Americans pre-Columbus, Loot the Library of Alexandria pre-burning and drop it all on Cezar's front steps. Bring Buddhist ideals to the Middle East before Muhammad was even born. Teach iron-working technology to Paleolithic Man. Etc... The possibilities to advance the human race are vast.

If there's nobody willing to pay you to work, on the other hand, then I can sympathize. Severe case of Fibromyalgia, no one would hire me due to how many days I'm unable to even get up and out of the room, the only think that keeps me from breaking down everyday due to the pain is the fact that I have the games to distract myself from the pain, I also can't take 90% of the pills they have for the pain/nervous issues and the rest don't work well or opposite of how they should. . .

Sadly enough, The truth with time travel is, If it hadn't happen already in our universal plane, It's likely not to happen even with time travel. It's already noted that time travel requires you to go across multiple dimensions. If you were even to alter a single moment while in one of those dimensions, It would complete change the flow of the future to divert it's path towards something plausible that would happen as a cause of that. - Spoiler:
If I had a time machine, I'd probably go back and prevent the dark ages from happening which in turn would advance technology greatly, And reduce the shitty westernized art.
Other than that, I would probably spend my life actually growing up in the 90's As even trying to fit in with the popular society we have present is pretty damn hard without wanting to punch someone in the face because of how uneducated they are about what they're saying.

You fall outside of the "function within reasonable parameters" portion of my statement, therefore you do have a valid reason. - Desu wrote:

coming from someone who did grow up in the 90s I can say you'd be sorely disappointed... By the 80s and 90s the educational system had already gone to crap... You'd probably have to go all the way back to the late 60s through the mid 70s (those years when we were putting people on the moon) to really get to grow um in a reasonably level headed society (aside from all that cold war shit). Also, the best music... I'll repeat, the best music.

The 90's educational system might of been crap, But it was an awesome time of cd player, "Windows 98" Developing and conjugational skills, In my opinion, It actually would be better for me to actually grow a bit living in the 90's as it wouldn't make me a complete social outcast for the average person of my age. Earning respect from peers after they realize they're almost a decade older than you is harder than imaginable. Only place where I actually seem to fit my maturity is whenever I tend to visit places that don't require knowledge of your age, As most people who don't already know me would think I'm too well informed than the rest of society, Even when I tend to make cynical comments on matters that "shouldn't be laughed at" And as for the music industry, I would actually love to live back in the late 90's where Nujabes was considered underground still and actually go to some of his concerts and start to become more appreciative of all of the uprising cultural ignorance back then. - Spoiler:
Oh and also, Pokemon.
