HELP PLZ... New/Return Player needs Starter Bot Tips!

Hi there everyone!
I'm a returning player from the old BETA days years ago, and SOO much has changed since then.
What surprised me the most was the STARTER Bot selection page when you first start the game.
Unlike the old starting page with only 3, there were (20) to chose from... (6) for your garage.

September 2013

I was wondering which ones (6) were the best ones to start with?
The ones I chose were:
- (Air, S) Crimrose
- (Air, S) Sword Wing
- (Sup, S) Wirberrl
- (Art, S) Lily Rain
- (Art, L) Destructor CN
- (Art, L) Saggitary Maxis

Others (14) in the list were:
(Air, S) Tentrion
(Air, M) Ghost Raider
(Air, M) Mach Knight
(Air, L) Aquila
(Sup, S) Jack Gadget
(Art, M) Armateus
(Art, M) Hoverion
(Art, L) King Gigaton
(Lnd, S) Jikun Long
(Lnd, S) Jikun Hu
(Lnd, M) Katana Max
(Lnd, M) Sharkhead
(Lnd, L) Domiclown
(Lnd, L) Hatigarm

I noticed my Crimrose was the STARTER version with the locked arms, which was a bummer, because I bought Wing Plus AMJs, hoping to equip them on her...guess not. =(

Does anyone know if I should change my BOT selection, based on the list provided above?
I just started, so I don't mind making a new account.

Lastly, I've noticed 2 versions of the human bots in shop (ie. Crimrose, LazFlamme, etc)... cheaper UC and expensive UC versions.
What exactly are the differences between those 2 (not including Rt version)?

Lastly... do all the starter bots have locked cores/parts... or is it just the human types?

The AMJs go on the ARMS. they're ARM joints.

I don't think winberrl still works with the meta anymore but I don't like her anyway.

Sword wing is ok for parts

Jikuns are always good


Meh, it's fine, don't worry about it. You can always buy the ones you missed or you can restart and get the other ones but no big deal.

What do you want to do anyway?

You do know that if a robot has locked AMs, you can't give him/her AMJs right? Same for locked LGs and LGJs.

huh ? you talking about crimrose HD ? she can become ultimate seraph crim HD with nova strike can lock down 6 enemy at onces with cancerous 40 forces, but need FC promotion inside UCDX garapon.

trust me you need that Crimrose HD.

Or you roll the UC DX Gara to get a 3s Crimrose FC. Or you buy her from the shop. Nobody needs Sraph FC.

If I had to chose out of these I'd prolly skip the chibis to.

My typical solution for taking out choices would be....

Take your list, remove the bots that's buyable from shop. So it goes something like this.

Code:

HD Crimrose - Get her, she's too expensive.
Sword Wing - No. He's in shop
Winberll - No, she's in shop, and not that good of a Sup compared to Reginas.
Lily Rain - Get her, her psyguns are awesome.
Destructor CN - Only if you want to. He's available in shop, but he's decent.
Saggitary Maxis I - Get HIM! NO QUESTIONS ASKED. BEST SNIPER EVER.

Tentrion - He's available from Super UC Garapon (the 8,000 UC one)
Ghost Raider - He's available in UC Shop
Mach Knight - He's available in UC Shop.
Aquilla - a good L Air Core. Easy 40 TEC.
Amateus - Not as good as Maxis, could be used for parts however.
Jikun Long - Get her if you're into melee. She's 100RT in shop.
Jikun Hu - For melee parts... sadly between Katana Max and Sharhead and Domiclown, there's not enough room since it requires a bit of moving around.
Sharhead - One of the best Land Bots in terms of Versatility. 20 WLK, 20FLY. His TEC and STR are Decent. only thing is TGH. Air Run also gets you to troll airs with a Bazooka to the face.
Domiclown - He's decent, hops @ 1~.
Hatigarm - Too fat. D;

The difference between Crimrose (that's 3,000 UC) and Crimrose (100,000 UC in shop) is that the more expensive one has better carts and has locked arms & legs. Crimrose that's 3,000 UC is the one that turns into a Seraph Crimrose later on. Of course the Expensive Crimrose can turn into an even more powerful Seraph Crimrose (One that fires energy bombs into the battlefield. Not to mention her seraph wings makes her go a bar lower than usual.)

I'm not sure if she is the HD version... I haven't been around for so long... but I guess she is since everyone says she is.

The starter Crim should be the hd version, you can differentiate by how
they look. (Crim, Lily and Jikun Long should be the hd ver for new player to choose)

Just the human type should have locked part except for a few
like Hatigram and his LG

You should be able to get more bots as you rank up so don't worry too much.
try to save your UC-RT conversion for one of the bots in shop before rolling gara,
quite a few are really decent (unless you have no problem with your current bots by then)

BTW, I have no idea what garapon is... wasn't around when I was playing Beta back in the day... sort of like a random lotto system?
What does it cost, and what "usually" comes out of 'em?

Lastly... is it possible to create the HD Seraph Crimrose WITHOUT using any Rt?
I don't plan on using any Rt in this game, so advice on some great UC bots and builds would be greatly appreciated.

Well it's random on what you get, gara shows you a list of prizes except for Super UC gara
being the only one not showing a list of what you might get.
(Just press F2 to open the shop menu and press the Garapon button)

Gara mostly cost 40rt per 1x roll, however there are UC DX gara 1 and 2
costing 2000 uc per roll and Super UC gara that cost 800 per roll.

If you want the HD Seraph Promotion it could drop from UC DX gara do note
you need at least a level 8 HD Crim to turn her to Seraph (level the HD Crim to lvl10 for more benefits and the promotion rarely drop from what I heard)

HD Crimrose must be level 10. It cannot be level 8 or 9 as the Seraph Promotion FC item will not work at those levels.

Yeah, I've been reading a lot of guides saying Seraph after Level 10, else you're wasting promo.

What exactly does "HD" mean... High Def?
Is there a way to tell which ones are the HD bots? ... the more expensive ones from the shop?

sturbanger= recomended but because we get it from give away, so dont pick it.
amateus = yes please.

and HD mean = Hi quality or hi definitions skin like real anime cartoon.

seraph crimrose with FC promotion will make her a total killer in arena. if you didnt know what is seraph crim rose FC you better go to union now and get raped / boom by her then fell the power.

If you're grabbing the first 3 HD Moes... i suggest taking the one with a BEAMGUN MOD. for Crimrose. Lily Rain just works well with Handy Bazookas. Jikun Long on the other hand, 2 viper shields. have fun.

Saggitary Maxis I, take Amateus. While the core is sorta sucky, his parts should work well with Maxis.

Sharhead is a stand alone (Air Annoyance, Hopper, Melee if you're into that.) . Once you have access to accel sabers you can upgrade Maxis I and Sharhead into tech shooters.

And yeah Level 10 Crimrose is fine too. you're gonna be stuck with her for a very long time xD

This starter HD Crimrose has a 3-slot Beam Gun, 3-slot Rapier, 2-slot AM, 2-slot LG, 0-slot BS, 0-slot Core, and no special moves/weapons.

I guess this means I'll take Amateus as #5 spot.

That leaves the #6 spot...
Sharhead... Aquila... Other?

Keep in mind I'm trying to get the best Bang for the Buck here (parts versatility), as well as sheer power/domination and ease-of-use/fun.

oh totally forgot about those 3, you get Level 6 bots as soon as you login with your newbie account.

Aquilla Girl, Scaregant and Sturbanger (original)

Aquilla Girl
- Air hunter type. You can moving burst. pretty standalone.

Scaregant
- That TGH. That STR. Those bombs. Not pratical Melee Diving, but he's actually good in terms of tanking and meleeing.

Sturbanger
- Spread Missiles, could use a bit of tuning but... Amateus' parts can also work on him if you plan to use him. But you have Saggitary Maxis I, which is far better.

Honestly?

Jikun Long, Crimrose HD, HD Lily, Saggitary Maxis I, Amateus -
Aquilla Girl, Scaregant, Sturbanger (Original)

You'd be using any of the 3 starters and maxis I and Aquilla Girl for Arena.

Scaregant, HD Crim and Jikun for arcantus.

So that leaves you with an opening for Mission.

I can't think of anything else other than Aquilla, since he's better at making lots of non-pvp bosses faceplant in shame.

Sharhead can do it to, against Frac (Air Run, Dual Spike Bit and Blaster charge in while shooting, platform to platform.) and Haku (3-way and move away before anything)

Aquilla and Sharhead in arena? Sharhead works pretty well. Aquilla on the other hand might require tunes (40TEC)

C$ remove strubanger from the list because of give away ( just for temporarly until event gone ).

oh yeah about FC promo "UDDX say welcome to my hell derp garapon ahue ahue ahue ahueeee".

Sharhead is a UC Shop & Lotto Cube Drop. Aquilla's a Shop Bot (RT) and Lotto Cube.

zero saber HD with no slot = that only pieces of trash.

you can't power up that zero saber at all with tunes / useless.

slot is the importand role of robot or moe.

more slot more power or more random tune method.
