Getting A Kingyo from Beach Survival Mission, is it true?

I heard some ppl say that you can farm for Kingyo (a fish SUP bot). Since I only saw Kingyo in Summer Garapon, is this rumor true?

Yes it's true, but it's somewhat rare. That's where I got my blue Kingyo from, so just get someone to do the mission with you and grind until you get its core.

Just so it's clear, the mission drops a zero slot version of Kingyo.

Bascially, yeah. Kingyo is also more or less the same as a chibi, so it can only equip 1 handheld.

He has a locked LG, while Pepen has an empty LG slot. Pepen also can't use weapons besides the core one.

Gara Kingyo has a 3s LG, the one that you get from the mission is has a 0s LG just like Shu pointed out.

Except that unlike a chibi Kingyo can't hold any melee weapon (I think not even subweapons but I'm not sure).

I think that it's more like anything that isn't a main can't be equipped.

I don't remember seeing one with a shield, unless it lagged too much to be seen.

lol I never thought of equipping a shield on it. So guess that mystery is solved.
