Mag's augment mod would make a bubble that protected her from bullets and would have as HP a certain amount of shields drained from the enemy, but since it had no cap, it would keep getting more and more HP, so it was pretty broken.
Instead of adding a cap to the bubble, they removed the bubble (you can see it, but it does nothing) and used the new overshields mechanic to give her more shields when she uses shield polarize if you have the augment mod on her, which is capped at 1200.
Basically she has her shields plus a max of additional 1200 shields, while other frames can only get that 1200 overshield from shield restore items.
The thing is, before the bubble protected her from bullets, which meant that status from bullets wouldn't proc, but now that the bubble does nothing and all you get is increased shields, you will get hit by status procs.

Another problem is that her Augment mod doesn't scale, power Strength won't increase the cap, so you are always limited to +1200 shields increase.
She actually got a hit when they added the new units, since it made it so less corpus units that she can drain shields spawn, and AoE attacks ignored her bubble. Now adding to that, she has no bubble, so you will have to spam shield polarize to survive in high tier fights, and the enemy might still melt your shield faster than you can drain them (because you do need to drain them after all, you can't sit spamming it without making more enemies appear).

Honestly, they might as well work in giving every frame some sort of defence way, if they are to keep this late game, because a lot of frames are seen as bad for long T4 survival because they have no damage reduction or protection in some way, which makes them die in like, 4 hits later on (less on things like Ember).

Really though, they should've kept the bubble along with the overshield mechanic. Mag is already squishy as she is so why take away the utility needed to brave T4 or any other high level mission?

At least I have a reason to craft large shield restores now thanks to the new overshield mechanic.

I do admit that the bubble with the infinite cap was broken, but removing it instead of fixing it was just silly.

Ember getting buffed soon.
World on Fire seems like it will work like Prism, since it will be a toggle ability with 50 energy to cast and will drain energy over time, but will also use duration, which is how Prism work.
Fire blast now will make a growing wall of fire like the eximus as well.
There's stats increase too, speed, stamina and armor increase (prime will have more 25 armor than the original).

Man, they sure are overworking themselves over at DE.

I still need to complete Ember Prime and replace the normal one.

So, Prisma Gorgon and Prisma Veritux. Not sure if event or Void Trader.

Can't tell if the new Tactical Alert is ultra hard that requires skill and preparation or ultra hard that is super broken as hell. Completed it anyway but never doing it again.

And this Gorgon is a lot like Imperator Vandal, no changes to damage, but bigger ammo clip, + fire rate, + crit chance and damage (and maybe something else I didn't see). Word on the street is that it's not that good to actually use, unless you just happen to like it, despite still being an upgrade to the original. Which is understandable, because, Soma.

And Nekros is being looked on and they are testing changes!
Which might make his Ult more useful than just eating bullets, but might still be bad if they don't update the AI, companion AI is terrible.

Archwing will be expanded through the water tile set when it's released. Underwater you will be using the archwing to "swim". Which is not that bad, since if you think about it, combat while actually swimming wouldn't be that good, so the archwing will be there to propel you.

and there is very little to no incentive/reward to play them either, I can imagine a bevy of Hellion Dargyns launching missiles at the escort target and you can do nothing to stop it and it'd be great if you can actually shake enemies off your tail and actually be able to dodge shots.

Design Council can suck a dick, the way they chose augment ideas are analogous to DE's crappy Augment Mods. At least DE's crappy standard are way better than the decisions of Design Council. Design Council have no slightest trace of impartiality when choosing augment ideas for respecting Warframe.

Well, at least it was Loki's Helmet, and I only lack 1 part to have a full set, which should sell for a handful of plat anyway. That and 30 rare cores.

And if they can't make all changes today (Walking through the shadows might happen today, but bullets going through the shadows won't), they will add more later.

Survival is a bit better because of the spawns, but the drop rate for the life support is so terrible that the mission isn't even fun anymore.

Saw a bunch of datamined stuff, some new augment mods seem cool. Some just improve the abilities (and some improve things that should happen without a mod, but oh well), others make abilities do things that other frames do too (restore ally shields, make enemies drop more items).
And then, Valkyr's mod isn't in the game it seems. Her other 2 mods were so bad, that they don't even know what to do anymore.
Rhino's mod looks horrible as well. Ember's mod is nothing special, again. Nekros mod might be good if the % in it is high enough, if not, it's crap.
Some new weapon variants that are totally unneeded because they are variants of completely viable weapons.

One of the new mods that you can see on the codex, might be crap if it's the description that I see on the data mined stuff.

I think that the lines about the new Defence might be a defence mode for archwing? And seems like it's a defence mission where you have to protect 2 objectives at the same time, in different places.

But more importantly:

The builder finally got the Vulkar augment mod calculation in it so we can see the actual numbers of the damage when scoping.
My built, without the mod and not counting with Crit chance, would deal 5852 damage.
With the mod while scoping and no crit chance it deals 9363.2.
But yeah, the scope is a pain since it zooms so damn much, so I usually only use it on big maps, like T4I, which I go camp A so I can scope the enemies on the spawn on the other side (if you keep the door of the spawn open, the enemies won't spawn in it and you can scope the other spawn point).
Still, a rather big damage increase from a single mod.

Oh, okay. He has primed continuity and the chest plate as well.

Syandana also has the energy effect as well, but you barely notice it since it's just a few lines. The color scheme is different from the original Yamako, which is darker and this one is lighter toned.

It seems that Transmutation cores will be used on Transmutation to make it so the mod that you get from it, matches the polarity of the Transmutation core that you used. Used a dash core? Get a dash mod. And so on.
