Subject: Kururu Gradd Bug? Sun Jul 14, 2013 11:21 pm
I just got Kururu Gradd from the mega Gara but i have a problem with her default wonder bit, When it is full,i press F which is my Activate wonder bit Button but it still won't show up! i can't release her wonder bit! HELP ME
It's an ammo based WB and thus used from the weapon palette. The subweapon is on her BD@/BS (I forgot what kind of part it is lol), and needs to lock-on on a friendly target. If the bits hit an enemy you'll receive a buff that allows her to cause slow turn (with the chainsaws) or charge delay (with the spike shooter from shop). But you need to be in a certain distance to receive the buff (it looks a little like nicole malice when she hits someone with her soul rod and these yellow things fly to her). If you're in reach an orange particle will fly to kururu and then some sort of whirl (very much like her booster flare/the chainsaw bits) of the same color will surround her. You can practise using this in the training arena.
If you want more uses for your WB you need to take the Enhance Internal Weapon Cartridge (this will also increase the performance of her conversion parts).
The basic idea of Kururu is to put the bits on an ally with a close combat (this doesn't mean it has to be a melee user) playstyle, so they can touch enemies with the bit. This will help them taking down targets and she will be able to debuff enemy units. Depending on the situation, you can also use the bits to protect weak team members or generally units that have no close combat options (in example Melfi), this is however a last resort thing to do, you have to judge the situation with care.
Typical units to put the cores on would be:
Ion
Nemlim
Generally any hopping gunner
Elisalotte
Misty Raven
School Misty (only if she doesn't spam her kiss attack)
Pepo Pucci Torte
Lux Legion
I guess you get the idea. They can also be used on stuff like Ivis Reine and such, but from my own experience they tend to break too fast if placed on a crowd diver style melee and Kururu's low HP+TGH will be a hindrance here because you either are out of the buff reach or simply don't get a realistic chance to actually apply the debuffs.

So that basic idea about her bit is to put it to a friendly ally?So i need to lock on to my teammate then press F and will the bits can actually chase the one who is attacking my allies that has my bit attached to her?

Guess he read through the wall of text except the first two sentences. My suggestion is, take the bot that you don't know, put it on the 1st commando, go into training part 3, and try out all main/sup weapons there. You'll find your answer then (I hope)
and here's someone done it if you don't feeling like doing it

@Rinka Chainsa Bits: I'm almost sure this is a bland and clumsy mistake by the translaters/people who make the names in japanese, that s now treated as something they intended, so they can still look "professional".

Need someone to reconfirm this, I only based this on my experience...:
iirc, the bits won't chase the attacker (like Mialy's bits), they act like a defensive barrier. So they would only spin around your teammate's body and inflicting damage to those who tried to get too close (mainly melees).
btw shouldn't this be on Question/Discussion section?

The bits do have an attack that rmind me a little of...ugh...Idk, dual 3 way bits or something? It's rather fast and most of the time you won't notice it when you're the host because at that range you've got other things to do pay attention to.
The bits are deployed on your deployed on your allies not your enemies and they stay there. Kururu isn't Mialy.
