There's no thread here to derail. He posted a video, said "you know who you are", and said nothing else of value. It's a canned posted that serves utterly no purpose. He's basically saying "wow this community is shit" without presenting any of his own answers for what any of us can do. The video talks about shifting blame: he's doing that. He's saying people other than him are the cause of the shitty community.

This is pretty rich coming from a person with a history of editing screencaps and showing off scoreboards are just him farming bad players, who then sits in a 1v1 room with a macro programming running so he can repeatedly kill an alt account for easy rank points instead of playing arena or doing boss runs like a normal player. He's probably posting this because he's mad about being reported to cyberstep for botting and saying that he was only reported because the playerbase was unjustly mad at him for doing these things.

They are speaking of shifting blames as a temporary measure until you find self-awardness and learn. Normally that's when they either become peacefull or leave the game (or bring a new level of toxicity, in which it's caused not by the game mechanics but by themselves - don't become that kind of player guys, as a part of that nefarious behavior will most probably carry along your life and reflect on your actions).

Or at least that's how i think by the stuff i saw over the years.

As a note i completely disagree with the part about trash talking. It's entirely dependent on the situation. Light-hearted, good natured trash talking is something that predates videogames and has been part of videogames for a long time. It's the fact that people take it too seriously that leads to offense. I call someone on this game an indo when they lag through attacks that should hit them. It has nothing to do with where they live or where they are from, nor is it meant to be offensive. Overly sensitive people think that they can be offended by it, though. They should probably chill the fuck out and call me a nigger instead of taking the shit seriously.

your not using trashtalk to boast or use it in a humorous way, so insulting is the only thing thats left for trashtalking purposes.
you may not intend to use it offensively but there isnt really anything other than that left. someone that doesnt know you well enough would be wrong not to be offended by it.

And this is the major problem. While we do have very contradicting members of our community along with the rage train every other Arena match (That would be me mostly) there isn't any real desire for the community and/or the game devs to find a resolution to it.

While the vid may have a direction you also have to understand the growth of the toxicity. It actually derives completely from CS. They have POORLY managed this community from their ignorance to substantial issues with the games balance. They've lost a huge chunk of the commu. Heck, their own commu's down.

Maybe if we all admitted some fault here and there, let alone Regg3, we could, y'know, move on and tackle proper issues instead of tossing poop across the fan-forums?
