As for FC, I see those nova spammers on the same level as those casual Link players in SSBM who only know how to spam up+b. Certain properties of the attack are good, but other properties harm its "potential." Anyone who knows what they are doing can handle either with minimal hassle. Plus, the amount of brainpower required to utilize either is distressingly low.

Of course, in Link's case, the move is fine as a combo-finisher. I cannot see FC's nova as anything but a crutch for subpar players to use in order to claim they are "good at this game."

Killing FCs is like eating that cake nobody wanted, by somehow. Though air Eve is still kinda troublesome (with my 10 FPS at best anyways).

Not really, it's just that extended flight bots with THAT range are not easy to deal with without taking very high risks.

When it comes down to it, FC is a pubstomper. It does very little against teams that don't stand around and wait to die to it.
Rege3 has a seraph FC that costs more 1500. Wow, that's quite a lot. Surely it most be super good, right? You see him top arena scoreboards all the time.
Come clan fight he tends to explode for 1600 whatever cost and doesn't even get top10.

FC does well when:
There's a large amount of targets for it to shoot at, because surely one of them will not be paying attention and get hit(30v30)
there's people standing under a heal bit and not looking at it(most arena rooms, people aren't too smart about this)
there's nobody running an artillery without homing weapons(again most rooms, though she doesn't have homing during nova so the homing artillery should still be able to kill her)

Why do people bring up killing her so much? Because FC is a duration-based score farmer. If she wasn't topping the fucking boards from killing retards, nobody would give a fuck because the majority of the playerbase only sees the score output without thinking about WHY it's getting those scores. FCs tend to fly up, drop their gay glitter bombs, and fly away and wait for another chance.
This means that it takes them the majority of the match to farm the score they get, unless they manage to hit YOUR ENTIRE TEAM on the first or second nova shot. If you kill them on the first or second attack run, they haven't had time to farm score and then don't end up topping the score board and the kids don't have to bitch so much because you can't even see them in top10.
Or you could let them boost their already bloated cost even higher and then kill them, but that's probably too fucking advanced for anyone who thinks this piece of shit bot is worth even using, much less complains about it being op.



tl;dr:
easy top10 =/= overpowered
annoying =/= overpowered

Also because nobody even bothers to hard counter it with Rouche, Dismoke, Baltheon or a smart Monica's B-Cancel Bomb.

Those damn FC crims fly too high and too fast for most non-homing missles to hit, heck too fast for most homing missles too.

You can watch your radar but when they are moving around like flies while at an altitude of who the fuck knows how high not even cluster missles can knock them down.

The fact that they don't flinch even when hit by a 60dmg only add to the annoyance. I had one time a FC sephcrim fly right all the way into our territory then shot the hell out of our medic and everybody fired something at it, as well as I did with a full charge fireball from Momiji, and the fucker just fly away all gungho without stopping or even losing a single bit of altitude or even half a second of melt.

I don't know what the fuck is the TGH from some of these FC crims to not even lose a single height or a second of boost despite being shot by 10 people or if the Sephcrim wings give innate hyperarmor but it is fucking bullshit.

Even a land type with 40 tgh get stunlock when alpha by at least 5-6 people, I don't see how the fuck these FC Crims can be immune to everything from Stuns to freaking who knows what.

Outside of Monica, I barely have any good Art types anymore although she's built more for suicide then anti-air for me. Trying to Aim with Pay rocket at a high flying Crimrose is hard as fuck sometimes, be lucky if the damn thing even fire at the right moment.

God I wish the Beamcanceling would at least make them flinch for even a second.

Meh, either way Crims are annoying as fuck when you don't have hard-hitting homing missles and even at a perfect shot they move around as if nothing happen.

Large Bazooka with Para tune can solve your problem. Even without a High Shooter tune, Large Baz's range matches that of FC (280).

I find this hard to believe since my Flare Momiji makes ultimaz drop altitude each time I hit him until he's inevitably grounded.

I'm was as surprised as you are. It was a direct hit(I saw the 60dmg as well as the Crim was right beside a wall so there was no way he could have dodged it) too yet the guy just kept moving and didn't even look like he had melt. This was one of the time when I started questioning what was Momiji's melt rate, it's effects and if the FCs get some innate Hyper armor or some other bullshit when it's wings are deployed. Momiji Aside there was no what possible that an AIR type, mind you, could move around just fine despite the entire team firing at it.

A landtype at least get a second of stunlock.

Maybe that was erro or some indo being an indo.
