Builds for it require Big Head HDJ. You can get one currently, as an RT Recharge Campaign item. If you're serious about making a build with it, you will need to pick that up.

If you seriously wanted to tune it though, either go 3x's Force (NOT High or Great, as both will reduce the speed), or 3x's Gladiator / High Gladiator.

If you watch that video, there's only one weapon tune, which is most likely a basic Grappler.
C.Veils/Hypershots all are more valuable to a beet hd than extra range. Being stunned is the worst possible thing for a Beet HD.

From what I remember from the old JP wiki comments, (High)Gladiator only increases the range, the speed is fixed (grapplers do reduce it though). And the range increase was so small it's not worth it given the high cost.

High Glad does increase the speed, but since the range is increased you won't notice a different in speed. Oh and beetlander HD is great with Deadalian AM2 if you happen to have one.

No actually I just think it is a good combo because the HD alone is a bad idea and whatever uses Daeda AM2 will prolly be able to utilize Beetlander HD as well.

The problem is, you already pushed everyone out the way with beethead, so using dae arm is just making you stuck in the spinning animation and not hit anything.

Beet HD can't combo in, nor out, iirc.

This. Just because you euip two melee weapons doesn't mean you need to use them in a combo. Beetlander HD's low ammo wouldn't be that awesome as a combo hit anyways (I hate ammo melee in combos, the only I use is Mighty Pilebunker in a FATDISTRACTION joke build).
