I just use AG for the first couple rooms, zero deaths till after the laser room. But our group was just so bad.

3 or 4 members distract/kill the mobs and boss, the members left(with blast weapons) attack the crystal. It's better to clear one corner and stay there.

This all goes to hell when the midboss appears and the Crystal starts spazzing out with boost drain nukes, pink bombs and laser walls.

I think this is specifically the part where people need advice on how to proceed.
Is there any safe place to attack the Crystal without dying?
How to avoid the midboss that stalks around and kicks/purple beams everyone?

Nah, that works quite well if there aren't any feeders.

It's by far safest to just keep a healthy distance from the crystal and whittle it down from 300+ range. For obvious reasons corners are the best location to be for this. There's also space between the laser square and red rain in which you can safely move with shorter-ranged weapons, though that's, for equally obvious reasons, not as safe as the former.

As for the boss, he's gay no matter what. Depending on when and how many times he punches/lasers, he can have you dead if he wants it even if you had vainic active (I've been lasered six times in a row on several runs, and frequently punched/lasered a third time after WB dodging two hits prior). The best way to not get killed is to just stay the fuck away.

Okay, not the greatest team, but at least you can still have enough space to attach a get-the-fuck-out-of-there device should you need it.

What about Psycho Cluster?

the AI of this mission kinda lolz, sometimes he stand there and not moving spamming aerial nuke till next phase (have easy time shooting, no space thoo). sometimes he keep use pedocharge to throw our chibi to pit, sometimes he spam ground nuke (and we haven't destroy sniper with spike bit) resulting in massacre, etc etc

completed this mission (for my DOS id) with 3 resha and 1 chibi, and I use monica (due to long range and decent dps), after 2 hrs. running sideway with 21 wlk art is enuff to evade boost waste blast, loong range make me able to shoot crystal from side, get suplied and healed by chibi, managed to reach throne with full BP. most of time wasted to restart mission on 1st/2nd room due to lots of insta dead bug (all party member have feel da bug wrath one after another, till we decided to change channel).
