Need help with blue screen

My friends computer is being a pain in the ass, I system restored it, Installed virus protection did a scan, No viruses nthn helped.

Its most likely faulty drivers cause she took it in and its not a hardware problem is there a program I can download to find and fix the bad drivers.

Or is there a way to select a earlier restore date than the ones listed, When my computer does a system restore it lets me type in the date.Hers had a list of dates.

1.Copy all the files out. (Use ghosting)
2.Use another computer to download all necessary drivers
3.Format the hard drive
4. Re-install the operating system
5.Install all drivers
6.Install the Anti-virus
7. Place all the files back in

Note that a while back during my harassment from the BSoD #9 on that post ended up fixing it for me.
