| So, you look at the title of this topic and you like "What the hell, CBFF Radio? Whut's that?..." Well, it doesn't exist, but I'm giving an idea... Creating a radio system on this forum... I'm going to explain to you this project How does it work?-> We create a team with the forum members which will be responsible for this. Each month or 15 days or whatever, depending on the avaibilities we could record our voices with our microphones (still trying to repair mine... T-T) and then put all things together on a downloadable file... That way, members could listen to the recording... File Content-> Well, radio members can comment about what's going on with CB, the forum itself, some events, telling some jokes and stuff like that... With a background music of CB OST for example. We can talk about many things. Why this?-> I personally think this would be awesome. It could be something cool for the forum. People excepting for the next file and all that stuff. Well this presentation may seem incomplete, but if people accept this, mainly the admins, we could create a team, launch some ideas of the recording and have fun! | |

| How's about, instead of files, we do a stream on certain times, and days of the week, doing Q&A, or just, talking with each other like the GM radio in CBEN, over mumble or something like that. | |

| I agree with the idea. It's kinda neat.
Still, there's always the problem of ppl having different logging times and such, so finding guests may be dificult unless they use a pre-interview.

| I think this works.
I used to work for Maple Radio.
Sadly that was behind the scenes stuff.
I dunno how to stream music itself.
I don't really prefer to have my voice recorded either.
I would prefer to do it live.

| So basically, a podcast for forum goes to download and listen to? if I had a method of recording readily available, I wouldn't mind adding my own little stories and thoughts! | |

| I'd like to help, 'cause I recently started to listen to radio/podcasts and they're pretty interesting.
Only problem is I talk super quiet and have background noise.
Like Gerrion mentioned, though, log-in times are pretty different for everyone, so doing a stream would be kinda awkward for most people unless we set it up for it to be downloaded at people's convenience. (Also, my avatar is fanart from Dungeon Fighter Online, the Mage character (since the thread you asked in got locked))

| Having some people gathering on skype and someone recording it or any way to stream it would be cool. | |

| Just set up a dedicated CBFF tinychat and get rid of the chat box. The adult humor forum I use does this and its quite fun when people arent arguing about stuff no one gives a fuck about. | |

| i think you missed the point boy, a radio is planned and is able to be downloaded (if podcasted or whatever you do) at a later time, if we just had chatbox 2.0 its would be hectic and a mash of people talking in different directions at once.

Tinychat? Ewwwww. And the problem with Skype is that not very many people on this forum like it...Though, a lot of us have Skype. Vent is awkward, too. :c Xfire is dying and updates obnoxiously every day with pointless stuff. Podcast would be naisu, though. Just figuring out how to do it is the problem. Wait... Do they argue with webcam up? If so, that'd be fucking hilarious to see their facial expressions as they argue. I think I'd laugh my ass off.

It a bunch of horney people from a adult humor site can handle it 90% of the time,We should be also. Unless its the ten % of the time theres pointless arguments thats whe you just mute everyone on tiny chat. Plus I want a excuse to buy a webcam D=. I have no need for one. Yes they ague with there webcam up. Mainly the girls there. Honestly the arguments thank god there rare cause Id rather throw my poop at a wall and watch it slide to the floor than here the crap they argue about. But tiny chat works fine from my experience. With it.And it also has a chat box everyone doesent have to cam up. Ive seen it work fine with 12 people on cam at a time.

| Perhaps we could have a number of radio sessions per month at different timings? That way, people would be able to get on radio chat on at least one of the sessions. I also suggest having a radio session once during bazaar, as that might entertain us while we sell stuff. | |

| Thanks for the answers, guys... Well I'm not a pro with those stream, micro and skype things and whatever... But I can learn it easily... Since it's directly related to this forum, I would like to read the decision of the mod team. Seems promising... | |

Thanks, and the pic looked awesome too btw Well, we could try the following: The podcast would continue. We would, however, record interviews when time schedules wouldn't permit it. Also, it's not that much of a problem if it's asked and scheduled ahead of time. I wouldn't mind doing, for example, an overview of a new robot to rei_hunter and then she would bring the recorded interview (with sound and video) to show dring the podcast. And btw, if some want to see how a podcast can be made, check the podcasts from the Wow Insider website. Just as an example

| How would interviews work? Like, what would they be about? Us forcing Tempura into a dress and asking him how s/he feels about it? | |

| Mostly about the game.
Sometimes about quests.
Sometimes about earning UC to afford the monthly rt purchase.
And while at it touch some points that were forgotten, like the medal system from the missions, for example.

Nowadays they're a requirement for certain dispatches from Altair Discs, but they're more of a thing to brag atm. Although the only place they can be viewed is from your garage, for your eyes only.
