Best Union for Me?

So, I did some research into the unions. This is what I found:

WIZ: Ark of Wizdom
Highly overpopulated, but possessed of some of the best players. Frequently wins weekly, has many beta players. Good players carry in Epoch

BRD: Ark of Bladine
Apparently was a little low on population during beta, people from the other two Unions joined later. Middling population now, higher concentration of good players than WIZ. Wins weekly about as much as WIZ. Well organized at Epoch.

DOS: Ark of Dostrex
Lowest population, highest concentration of good players. Lost players at end of beta because of transfers to BRD. Almost never wins weekly. Usually doesn't do well in Epoch.

So the question is, where should I go? I'm usually quite good at video games, so I probably won't be a liability (I hope). I've got money to burn right now, ($200) so I'll probably start pretty strong after obtaining the better bots (once again, I hope). Thanks in advance.

Go with what you value the most in my opinion. That way you can represent what you believe in.

But if you're in on it for statistics:
Go with BRD / WIZ if you want to win the weekly and obtain random prizes that you can easily get within a few minutes over the course of a week. If you want to be in a low-population area and don't care about winning, choose DOS.

It seems like some of the DOS players can be kinda anal. But judging by your strategic bolding and semi-sarcastic tone, you're either a member of DOS or you have a bad opinion of the other two unions.

Yep. I'm with DOS. Personally, if I could pick a union, I wouldn't pick any and just stay neutral. All of the rage that goes on between the three unions doesn't really suit me at all.

The only reason why most of the people in DOS are anal is mainly because DOS has the largest concentration of brazillian/latino players (Which is very looked down upon by the other members of DOS who aren't brazillians/latinos themselves. I personally have no hate towards anyone). It's mainly because of how bad they play and how bad they lag. Some of them are actually really good, but the majority aren't sadly, so the DOS people who are good just rage at the others.

DOS is unfortunately full of rage, which is why I suggest you go to one of the other two unions. But if you want to join DOS anyways, go ahead. Always glad to have a positive member in it :3

The only advice I can give you is that, even though you've researched what each union has, it's still ultimately up to your own decision who you want to join. Who you join or don't join doesn't effect who you can make friends with or who you cooperate with. It only affects Union Wars. Every other aspect of the game can be done with any player from any union.

I always choose Brd when make alts or try new server, no reason though.

But why are latinos so hated in DOS comunity? It's something i haven't found out why...

Ofc, there are good clans in DOS too. Like Deadlock (it's not publicity, i feel welcomed everytime i log in )

Fat Art is a general term when you use a Large-size Artillary unit. Large-sized Artillary units are, as they suggest, big and slow, but have high amounts of heavy firepower output.

Why apply a derogatory term to them if they're so good?

Because in Cosmic Break, Speed is better than firepower.

If you're going to be slow, you're going to be killed, no matter how much firepower you put out.

I'd fucking love to know how this BRD = rtfag thing came about when a simple visit to epoch and a peek at the team composition will tell you who are the richest fucks of the two groups.

I guess DOS might theoretically have the highest good player:bad player ratio due to lower population, but in terms of total skilled players you're looking more at BRD > WIZ > DOS.

but you still have central area and quest area after all...

Latinos are looked down upon in the CB community in general because:

-The vast majority of them lag horribly.
-The vast majority (actually, I can't name a single one that doesn't) primarily use melee; which only accentuates their lag.
-When they aren't using melee, they're usually using something homing (i.e. Vector Eagle) so they can still hit things through their lag.
-When they aren't lagging, they're usually not very good (i.e. frozzen costing more than 10k across multiple games)

I don't like to stereotype, but I can count on one hand how many latino players actually break the mold.

Primarily you should be joining a union for the clans. The clans you get to chat/play with is really the most significant difference between each union.

Like reVelske said, entire Snowflake is full of RT fags. Me included.

I can name probably 10 people off the top of my head in Snowflake who spend so much for this game.

I'm sure that's not case, more like DOS is really THAT bad and has some inferiority complex mixed with what Sugu said.
