It will be in Japan in a day. Of course it will take some time for it to come out in English like everything else. I admit I am pretty excited about this as well. Not only can you create and edit your bots as you see fit, but now actual STAGES... This game is getting better and better.

Definitely, which is why I'm looking forward to the official release, once that comes out we'll be getting cool changes like that stage editor more often. (Although Im still gonna be dissapointed once they have the item sweep)

Tell that to the ART that scored 20 stun-kills with Bazookas.
The editor itself looks simple enough. I wonder if they will integrate popular Stage Editor maps into the Shuffle cycle? Transformice did something similar with a voting system; it could work.
hopefully you can make mission maps with it... if you can.. *grins evily* ill make one with 1000 of those missile shooting little ranbots.. oh and throw in 1000 of those double beam sword melee whores at the same time... with platform madness...
if not.. ill make a bunch o desert stages that dont actually make me go... bleh... like the ones they have so far...
Mods? Cyber Step has GMs... Are you talking about the mods here? None of us are apart of their company, nor were we hired by them.
My bad, my bad, I meant GMs... (EDIT: Fix'd)
I get a little out of it when I'm rage-ing.

and, uh...the stage editor is completely utterly free, feign. They make a killing as is with JP cash prices.
In that case, I will shut my filthy pie-hole and enjoy the game.

So, last night, I got on the map editor and tossed together a map I decided to call "The Anthill" Three layers of tunnels, with a maze of walkways over the instant death pitfall stuff on top of the whole thing. The tunnels are nice and twisty, with lots of nooks for ambushes. Also good for turtling up with Support and land types. The maze up top is fairly open and flat, great for both Air and Artillery types.
They don't seem to have the tech in the editor yet for Power Spots or destroyable objects... yet...
EDIT: First test of the level... I'm gonna have to work on it a bit...

Only arena maps? Or missions as well? That would be awesome.

Yep, only team fight, only free-for-all no power spots, no destroyable terrain that drops powerups.
Heaven or Hell! FIGHT!

Aw. I thought I could create a mission map like Ouka's. Other bots could also benefit from it.
