Gara Animations

I'm almost afraid to post this, lest I ruin some kind of crazy luck or wind up with CS making an intervention into my gara rolling, but my curiosity must be sated.

Here goes.

I've heard people talking about the Garas trolling them, but I've never really understood. Although I never rolled the garas that people were seriously pissed about (ie, original EVE gara, Megagara, etc) I never seemed to have a problem. I never roll a gara more than twice (aside from the super UC), but every gara I've ever rolled has given me the number one prize. For example:

Weekly Gara: (Nicole Malice Skull)

Weekly Gara: (Ritter Lazflamme)
Scaregant Burai
Ritter Lazflamme
Thunder Sword x2 (I think that's what it was called, it was the Aura sword)

All of my rolls were the superman animation, except one in the DX gara. These are the only garas I've rolled. As for the Super UC gara, I started keeping a record of what animations I got about 2 weeks ago. Here it is:
Superman: 52
Car Crash 12
Derp Walk: 3

I hope I'm not making a giant mistake by publishing this, but I'd really like to know if anybody gets significantly different results under the same circumstances.

you do realize weekly garas dont have a top prize function right ??.

The bot at the top in a weekly is just put at the top. There was a weekly gara witha bunch of good stuff a mighty byne gold was at the top and he was far from da best prize.

actually, weeklys do have that function, just not the ones he named
ouka and dayu as well as ouka (scarlet) and dayu promotion (scarlet) as well as eve (red) had rarebot status (as far as rolling them goes)

btt:

superuc gara will almost always give you superfly on x20 (i didnt exactly count but till now i guess im at about 90% rate of superfly in superuc gara)
in normal garas x5 has much higher superfly rate than x1 rolls have (thats one of three reasons to roll x5 when you plan on spending a bigger amount of rt anyways)

i dont really find your "luck" extraordinary
and most people consider themself "trolled" when they do not get what they rolled for in a maximum of 10 rolls (this includes getting a specific raremoebot out of ?? in mega gara)
very few people can really say they got trolled by garapon but very many people do it

I can If I didnt feed a shit ton suazkus,a few vangaurds, and a shit ton of crim roses I could show just how gara trolled i was.

I got every single bot out that gara aside genbu EVERY FUCKING BOT FUCKING GAY BULLSHIT.

1. Garas are rank based. Early on as a noob i did a 2x 5 got ouka and eve right off the bat. As I grew in rank my luck got eh-ish.

2. Best to roll at 0:00 as soon as the server comes up. Sometimes there's magic hours where for a few minutes the rolls will be like golden piss raining from the heavens and you'll get rare stuff like ro/wp cubes in a few shots, but this doesn't last very long. I've put 20 mil UC into super uc gara and I've found the loot to be EXTREMELY inconsistent meaning there's more to the gara than most of us know. I've had gay bad luck with DX gara and then ro cubes on christmas. I'd get constant car crashes and lowest tier prizes for dx and ro cubes i kept getting uc bots from 6 of 7 cubes i opened, i waited til the next day to open the last one... mighty byne gold... hur durr..

3. Either start 1x til you get a slot machine success to kill low prizes or just go mad cow on it with 5x and hope for best.

So ultimately, low ranks get a bit of a hedged bet, once you get higher rank your luck is normal-ish. You sir, are silly.

NO, at least not on me and my friends.. we call it trolled when u get 10 Superfly and no one gold, or u got 3 gold, all them the same one (normally the useless one) and u start getting 2 or 3 of the same bot in 5x roll and at the end u end full of 1 bot (normal drop of that bot is at leas 3 on each 5 rolls! that is a troll time!)

not getting just the 1 bot u want, is not a troll (we are right with that) there is where the mechanics of randomize and gambling takes effect. but getting the 6 of the same bot in 10 rolls.. something is seriously break in the garapons system.. like always getting the same Silver bot!!! or always getting the same 2 of 4 weapons.. that isn't normal gambling.

Also I don't believe that the Rank can affect your chances in Garapons, if that is being considered then its not a real random gambling (and that is illegal) but high ranks (lets call them old ppls) have noticed a bad luck on current garapons rate, but I just believe the Slot Machine and the ! bonus has break the % of the random prices (they decrease the chances then when u get a bonus u will say oh god it was better!!!)

Gambling is when you put money into something in hopes of multiplying it or winning a prize at the risk of getting NOTHING in return. This is the legal definition of gambling.

What you're doing is buying a 'grab bag' -- if you call putting 25 cents into a machine at the super market and always get something (which is exactly what gara is you always get something) illegal and gambling, then you are a flaming retard.

for 1) from my experience with rolling, rank has no influence on garapon at all, thats simply superstition based on the lack of statistics

and for 3) rolling x1 for slotmashine? seriously?

for 2) i wont say much on this subject, as time (and date.) being used for the seed of a rng is something not so uncommon

i wonder why no one mentioned that garapon might be build around throwing dices, yet. that would explain many of its seemingly strange behaviours

i experienced that too but it only made me change my thoughts about how prices are being calculated

also: 10x without gold ... 10x what? 10x1 or 10x5 (10x1 superflys without a gold isnt really special while 10x5 superflys without a gold is highly unlikely [and i honestly doubt that this was the case])

So I wonder, has anyone ever got a gold when some of the items have been removed by the ! deal or by the random slot machine? I never have...

And about the rank thingy, rare, in my case it was oposite, when i was pentagon rank, the garapon only drops me blue and bronze balls, when i reached star rank, silver balls and gold balls started to pop out in x1 and x5

and honestly, I still don't see how rank has an effect on rates. I remember my first three gara rolls were on Eve, and I got gold, gold, and red. No Eve.

Still the same rates as my main, if not worse. It just happens to get the non-golds I want, while my main gets poo.

Whenever you play. game, gamble for a random number (rulete, slot machine...) its a gamble no matter if u always win an item... and there are regulation on how the random seed must works (for the ones that can give you 0 prices they must give one each N rolls) but for this you must have work on Gambling Apps or Casinos or like... we Software Enginneres (yes me!) have worked on Online Casinos, Online Gambling and we know a little about legal repercutions about gambling and chances for wining...

May be someone with a degree on laws or economy can give us more info about that.. but this thread is not for that...


UPDATE: Gambling or Gaming in Online Apps (call it games) have diferent laws or concers that in on real life (real casinos)

yes 10x5... 50 without a single gold... the wort one was Crim Bonust (then only silvers and golds), got superfly and I got 4 of the same silver and 1 of the other.. and I believe there where just 2 or 3 silvers... dont rmember what garapon was... but I was totaly pissed!! xD!

I remember before the slot and ! bonus a super fly was like a 99% chance to get 1 gold.. now a super fly is just: EY If all the planets are in the right moment u can have one GOLD!... hahahahah but rate are also dependant on the Garapon(new year, summons...)
