game freezing

when ever i open the game, it freezes sometimes from time to time and also it makes my window 7 go back to basic mode and make everything very big when i switch out. It also make everything go black and i can't open any other tabs but i can switch out.

Maybe your graphic card is overwhelmed? Maybe it's an onboard thing?

Similar situation here; shortly after getting into the game(and it doesn't happen every time, or even for very long), cpu usage rockets to 99-100%, with CB eating nearly all of it...; everything just sits there for a minute or 2 at a time, then reverts to normal for 5-30 seconds, then freezes again....

When it -does- happen, it generally does so for anywhere between 5-30+ minutes, and I can think of no reason for it to do so...the PC here is more than capable, the ping is under 100, and no other programs are running except standard anti-virus stuff...I've noticed it only started acting this way 3 or 4 updates ago, somewhere between Thanksgiving and Christmas....

*shrug*

Memory leak, perhaps? No other game behaves this way on this PC....

Yeah, it's the game. They won't fix it, so it's time to call it quits.

I have also been experiencing the same thing ever since one of the December updates. Since then my game freezes for a couple of seconds very regularly (which is making the arena nearly unplayable), and often gets stuck at a loading screen and sometimes just closes itself to desktop. I e-mailed CS about it to see if they knew what the problem was, but they only said that I didn't provide enough information and to try reinstalling the game. I've reinstalled it 3 times now but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have made any difference at all.

As I said before they will not fix these problems, so don't bother asking them about it.
