It was a saturday and I was done with some cram school (entrance exams) and there was a small convention with apparently comics, anime, merchandise and shit in an university so I went there and I was looking at the panels when I hear behind me something like "DOUSHIO" or another random word in kawaiispeak.

I just left that place and decided to never go to any con for the rest of my life.

And people actually said I looked EXACTLY like the background character, I felt so honoured

The first time I cosplayed (which would have been my second anime convention, I think) I went as GIR because I bought a GIR hat at my first anime convention. It was a pain to find the right color of shirt, so I really didn't want to do it again. (and I can't sew anyway) And I never went back to that Kon because of the annoying 4-hour drive to Wichita, Kansas.

But then I played TWEWY and really wanted to do a Sho Minamimoto cosplay, but I never really got around to it. Thankfully, the Kon I regularly go to had someone do it. (Which is Naka-kon, by the way)

I think the best cosplay I've ever seen was in my first year of going to a convention, and that was a really well-done cosplay of Ryuk.

It gets really, really, REALLY annoying to see people continuing to dress up as Naruto characters. Dudes, that was cool about five years ago. Now it's just unoriginal and tacky. =_=

For this year's convention, I'm probably going to go as a TWEWY Reaper. Though, even that will be an irritating challenge.

I remember once when i attended one of those Anime Conventions, called "Iberanime". Went there on 2 consecutive years, both for the 2 days. On the first day of the first year, i want there with my scout uniform, since i was going there on the afternoon, so i went dressed for it. I found it awesome to check everything, until a group came to me, asking what anime serie was i cosplaying, as they didn't remember one regarding boyscouts. I awnsered that it was my actual uniform, visiting here, and everyone went Still, we talked a lot and went to check everything, and i even got a chibi pic of myself (which i will reveal in time).

The secret is, when you cosplay in a convention, the fun only ends when you want. Say hi to ppl you don't know, say how cool their cosplay is ( and expect them to ask about you too) and then carry along other cool animes/events/memories.

And as the costume you'd chose, i'd pick Cloud. It doesn't need much besides clothing and the sword, and it doesn't require you to be quite manly, i think.

Edit: And now that i've checked all the 4 pages, it seems you already chose one. Just go whit it, be yourself ( and a bit of Hideyoshi as well) and have fun. It's one of the main reasons that cosplay conventions were made

Took a closer look and noticed a few of her clothes are everyday clothes in Europe...at least back then. I think.
