That one Cactus Mission...

For those of you who have been following Packet (The Mate) on her little quests... Then I suppose you might be familiar with this one. ^_^;

One bullet from a cactus I take is like a direct beam shot in my face. =_=; I swear, even fighting Vanguards are much easier than this. The 1000 BP pool does not help either. Does anyone know an effecient and effective way to clearing? Thanks! ^^

Eh, there should be a few threads regarding this if you bothered to Search for them, but anyhow, the failsafe way to do this is using two <500cost crims equipped with Wide Beam + Shield/Blaster and Slayer Bit to clear out all the fodders (save Slayer bit for the shield bots, circle them and let Slayer bit do the work) and then use your 3rd pimped out airbot equipped with Blaster to take care of boss.

Once you are experienced enough with the mission (and CB in general), you can easily solo this with a high cost bot on its own, I've been managing with a Thoarla AM3 + Pacifar AM GeoF easily enough.

common way is bring 2 less than 1000 total cost bot and last bot is best bot posible
usually ppl bring airs, also, lightning gun can easily kill those shielded one
just watchout burner one, if you got hit, you're screwed

I used to use a melee and an air, i did it over 10 times solo and rarely fail, but now my melee already over 1000 cost .-.

I did it pretty easy witha cheap rail gun bot, and maxis as my last, This was for specific rail gun train when there was no lag rail guns were highly relevant and I could blow shit to kingdom kun.

Adhom the leader of efb cant even use his maxis 3 anymore if you noticed. So lag of rail guns effects every rail gun bot.

Except mialy and genbu for some reason. Which leads me to further suspect cs makes older gara bots useless behind are backs and slowly nerfs them.

I did... I only found one or two;; And they're pretty old >_<;

Less than 1000, eh? O_O Hmm... The only reliable air bot below that is Seraph Crim... So many pros here too DX... I get baraged by bullets from using a melee bot. ^_^;

Just go froglanders with handy mags or mini zooks. Take an AM off for good measure. It's what I did.

I use two level 3 Crimroses as my first bots. I give the first one bullet guard, a shield and a WBG / Slayer bit. The second bot I switch out the shield for a blaster and the slayer bit for a sniper bit. The third bot I use a Seraph. (I don't have to use her unless I am tee totally fkt up and can't see straight.)

The mission is pretty straight forward. Things run around; shoot them. Flying bird appears; fly higher than it (if possible) and shoot it. Things with shields appear; fly circles around them from above and shoot them. Boss appears; take out the bird and then blaster the boss.

My rewards for the past two days of doing that quest have both been Harmonics Betas (20%.) I also get alpha and beta +30% tickets pretty regularly, too.

(Oh, and if you are going to do this everyday, it helps to leave Arcantus at or beyond the third outpost and not quest anymore after that so you can just hit "resume quest" and then exit out.)

I do it with a nicole + any other bot after the nicole dies. Can usually get up to the boss with the nicole so you just need something to finish the king cacpenis off.

2Beezle with Magnum, need some aim, end with Seraph with Blaster.

Phew, just finished the mission. Brought out a Seraph Crim with 985 Cost with 1 Shotgun and one Wide Beam Gun. ^_^;

It was very hard and I died like... more than 5 times, but I did it!
