Reaper's Scythe vs Kamui Staff

which do you prefer for close combat, and why?

Reaper. Kamui is the alternative while getting some RT when you start this game.

why pay 3 bucks for some fugly scythe when you can get a glowy cool looking sword for FREE?

it's not like i hate kamui staff, kamui staff's good thought
but reaper's scythe could damage enemy easily because of its range
well.. kamui staff's also easy to damage the enemy, but scythe is more efficient
because, scythe only did 2 hits but massive damage
but kamui did normal damage but more hits
and scythe's also fast, well.. maybe not as fast as kamui staff
but still, i think reaper's scythe do good damage on LND's,AIR's,and of course, ART's

kamui is good until reaper scythe appeared

now kamui is just newbie stuff, it's forgotten ...

Yeah Kamui is just for the looks now
Though you do see ZSGs in arena with Kamuis every now and often

Grappler Tuned Kamui Staff + Shielded Parts + Byne core + Domiclown Stretching weaponless AM + tuned Rocket launcher + lots of TGH/STR/Speed = Stun master Mcinvincible.

If it's ZSG it's Scythe.

Anything else? Kamui.

Byne HN and Kamui 2GG used to be my favourite bot.

And i just sold tat Kamui for 50k UC

In most cases Reaper Scythe because it has AoE.
When playing Ouka, bots with a scythe are harder for me to deal with in Union wars compared to Kamui Staff.

Definitely the Scythe. With it's speed and AoE finisher, it's just more versatile.

Kamui Staff if you want to spam Right Click.

Hell, I prefer Ouraikiri, and MBG Pilebunker.

Kamui Staff has a big reach; Reaper's Scythe has a powerful AOE.

Going with Reaper's Scythe, but only if paired with another sub weapon (RS Arm, Zero Saber BD, etc.)

reaper scythe if you are suwako, kamui if you are anyone else (laggy seraphs/jikuns not included)

If it weren't for that, I would have switched to Kamui and throw a slow tune on it. ._.

Otherwise, Ripper Scythe is one of the best melee Non-Garapon Weapons you can get at this moment, IMO

Kamui Staff IMO is significantly easier to use, and available to any type of bot. Its also significantly easier to stunlock someone with it, as compared to the scythe, which lacks a forward lunge.

but scythe dmg is high enough to almost stun every hit it touch someone

On topic, Kamui staff is great, just the cost that's a down side, can't say much for the scythe, don't own one

The thread is about Kamui Staff and Reaper Scythe, two things -anyone- can get without resorting to Gara.

You named 2 gold garapon weaponry, one of which is event-only.

Justified? Lets use something called common sense for a bit; What's the similarity between both weapons?
