In response to feedback regarding the Anti Lag Teleporting System, we have modified the system so that it only affects certain Arena rooms, and lowered the latency threshold of those rooms to 250 ms. Arena rooms with the low latency threshold in affect have been marked with [Low Latency] in the room description. The Anti Lag system threshold has been removed for areas other than the Low Latency rooms.

In Low Latency rooms, players with over 250 ms of latency between their client and the game server will be forced to move smoothly from the perspective of the server and other players. This means that these high latency players will experience what appears to be, from their point of view, heavy lag. However, from the point of view of everyone else, these lagging players will appear to be moving normally.

Did they really have to remove the anti lag for the rest of the rooms though.. If I'm understanding this right, the other rooms won't even have the 500ms threshold anymore.

Idk what the problem was -3- I'm at 90ms or so, and I still had lag spikes (I guess every now and then I'd spike past 200 or something?), unless I hard wired my lappy into my router. Even hard wired in, I'd have issues of lag, just to a much lesser extent. Prior to that update, I'd never lagged before so idk?

In either event, idk which rooms I'll hang in nao... Part of me wants to not lag, but part of me dosn't want to fall victim to laggy slow tuned Kutens again T.T

This is a bad solution to a simple problem, set threshold to 350ms-400ms, ignore the bawlfest from people who should not be playing on EN based servers.

i like the new rooms

with tracing i get usually (read: allways when i do it) results of 270 to 280 pings, yet i can play lagfree in them .... its so fun to see your railgunHITS actually counting

I got lag at atleast 191Ms ping, kinda worried me, so I'm really glad they removed it -w-
