Agreed on the game. Despite being european, I managed to play there for quite some time, so I kind of know how it is and that no game can match his grade of awesomeness (for the genre, that is) so far.
Only problem was that I couldn't party up with others due to some lame error. Annoying. Soloing is okay to me, but some help is always appreciated.

Ranger. Used to yell "HEAVY MACHINEGUN" when taking out the M134 Minigun while recalling the old games played on Metal Slug... *sighs.*
Well, having armies of creatures willing to lay down their lives for you and fulfil your whatsoever wish is certainly a nice way to venture in a dungeon. Let them do the hard work, watch the whole battle unfold while quietly sipping a tea and betting on the outcome or buffing your creatures. Or both.
Dandy.
Truth to be told, Rangers have their share of summoners, the oh-so-awesome Mechanic. Spamming little walking bomb-bots is priceless. Especially when they blow up on people.
I still prefer my heavy weaponry fetish. Missile launchers, miniguns, railguns, orbital cannons, you name it, I have 'em. And better, I know how to use them. Sucks that Launchers have to use Hand-Cannons as main weapons. Worst weapon design ever.
might gve dungeon fighters a go later oh and btw S.U.N (soul of the ultimate nation) has sth u both should like :O thers a class that uses bowguns (they actually shoot like usual guns) and u got summoning skills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQEUDPTOeR0&feature=related was too lazy to find a better vid but there a summon and a big bowgun there r also smaller dual bowguns XD
I had forgotten about this game. Game was great when i was playing it, A pain to get a party together but all in all fun. Last i remember of this game was the video i did of soloing kings mode of that underwater castle.
It's a great game. I have a 56 Battle Mage and a 46 Female Launcher (and rolled about a dozen alts to 3X), and was playing daily up until Vindictus Early Access opened up (Sept. 15th). Cosmic Break put the nail in DFO's coffin, though; I might have gone back if it was just Vindictus to toy around with, but two new games is enough for me to cross it off the list... for now, anyway.
I love the PvP in that game. Huge focus on 1v1 and a lot more varied than most MMOs. Gear seemed to be a bigger issue there than here, though, and that's not something I'm a huge fan of.

i was going to make a new thread but i saw that this one was still up. so, why not. WHY NOT.
ok, i've been playing this game off and on a lot. hell, i would go on for nights and days just playing this. just so addicting.
anyway, i started to play after male mages hit about a month? about a month ago. but i already got over male mages. more or less.
i still play. but i usually only play when my bf wants to play, sadly. i'm tryin' to find that urge to play like i used to again. anyway, we ended up playing one of our old alts. and that was our launcherrrrsss.
so, here are some pics of my bf and i playing on our launchers.
this is him on his launcher.
and this is me

Started playing this game again. I'm pretty much noob since I haven't played at all since I made my character like 2 years ago. Right now, I'm receiving returning hero bonus or something, which I do believe gives you 25% boost on exp(I think).

This is what I've been playing all summer. Sometimes with Mili. We got our launchers awakened recently (basically a 2nd mini job-advancement) and had fun with our awakening skills. I don't have any nice pictures, though.
Avengers just came out, too. A new priest class with a focus on using more dark and demonic related skills. Their awakening practically turns them into a full on demon. Tried one out a little bit, it's fun, but not the typical class for me.
I just really love this game, keep going back to it ever since the beta. Not just the gameplay, but the lore and music pulls me in, too. There are some truly great tracks.

Man I don't know how you people play gunners. They are the most boring class out there for me. ;_;
I mainly go Mage. I tried the Male Mage out a while back and it was pretty boring, unfortunately. None of my characters are past 3x, though.
I miss when buying avatar items with gold was really cheap. ;-;

I'm not actually that much of a gunner person either. But launcher is an easy support-ish class and doesn't need a lot of funding. It's a fun class to play with someone else. What's not to like about blasting things with huge guns, too?
My two main characters are actually a Female Grappler and a Blademaster, both at level cap. There's going to be an event later today and next weekend for some free level up tickets, as well, so I might be getting a 3rd character to max level soon, a Male Nen Master.
If you're having trouble getting past the 30s (it is kind of rough on some classes..) you could try and get in on those free level up tickets. There's a chance to get 8 of them total (4 today and 4 next weekend). You only have like a window of a minute for each hot time, though.
Ah.. and avatars are so expensive now, it's true.. playing Dress-Up Fighter Online is suffering.

I used to play it a little, like 2 years ago or such. Nowadays I just follow certain threads on certain image boards.
