| I think this goes here @.@
Anyway, is a breaker tune worth it on a random beam weapon of some kind? It states that it increases the weapon's chance of breaking by 25% per tune. With 2 tunes on though, I have yet to break a part with the gun in question. Am I doing it wrong =?

| Considering how part-breaking mechanics are still pretty much up in the air, you'll be hard pressed to find any real info on this. Buuuut still, on a weapon that has little to no breaking power, adding 25% to that wouldn't make the slightest of difference. Only weapons worth tuning this on would be Breaker type weapons, Missiles probably work too as I get the feeling they have decent break rates but *shrugs* I have no proof. | |

With 2 tunes on though, I have yet to break a part with the gun in question. Am I doing it wrong =? It doesn't literally increase it by 25%. Rather, a weapon will have a default breaking part chance. Let's use an example, with 0 having an ability to not break anything to 100 having a 100% chance of breaking. Armor Breakers have a 6/100 breaking chance. 6x1.25 = 7.5. Now since you did a 2nd Breaker tune, 7.5x1.25 = 9.375. In other words, it would increase from having a 6% chance of breaking a part to a 9.375% chance of breaking a part, not a 56% chance. tl;dr - Breaker Tunes are a waste of cost in my opinion.

| Pointless with Blaster, I've never seen it break anything no matter how much I hit people with it. There might be some potential with Vulcan and Gatling though. | |

| i only know that a burstshotgun with 3 breakers will not brake parts on a realiable basis (i tested a few times in teammatch and it resulted in the enemy dropping by 300 to 400 hp before i broke a part, which is propably the point most enemys would be as good as dead and the cripple wouldnt really be needed anymore)
i may test tripple breaker on a breaker rifle (got a spare core breaker .. >.>) or some gattling if i find that i have spare ones

| Breaker is a moot tune on ranged weapons.
Nuff said. | |

| A melee weapon will have a better chance at breaking a part than a 3x breaker anything, except maybe a Byne AM3 or something.
In a word or two: (Generally) useless.

| No 25% more of 0.015% is just 0.01875% | |
