While my tablet is still not working properly, I took a look again at Kanna. I wasn't satisfied at how she looks based from the request description given to me. So here's a third version and a bit of mixed styles. I hope the person who requested this would prefer this version.

I based it on one of wakaba's references. But yeah, it made me think as well. Should I just go with it or modify it?

So I tried to see what Kanna would look like if applied with color. Well, I suck at coloring. Anyway, mistakes are noticeable. It's just only a test. Corrections will be made soon.

Thanks. I'm using Manga Studio 5.0 for both the lineart and color. I'm still new to it because the previous version I was using never had the color feature.

I hope I do get the tones/shadows in the right places. I'm still piss poor in that category.

Not really much of an update but somewhat a preview of what Kanna might look like with color. Don't mind the distorted lines. I'm still testing if the lighting is good on her. Adding color, highlights and tones were never easy for me >_<

I realize that I need to start using vectors as well for resizing purposes.

always remember where does light coming from, left? right? up? down? sideways? etc?

Not just that. The shape of the surface that that light hits is what's important as well. And I won't be very accurate on that since I haven't learned that far orz.
