What if I grind and rank up to 28?

I hope you realize rank isn't a good indicator of skill. It's not like I hardly play, I just didn't bother grinding arena or missions for points as much as everyone else.

Really... We had a few months notice for the tournament, that was plenty of time to grind to jewstar. Don't really need to grind it anyways, it just kind of happens when you play the game.

There's no reason to not be jewstar by now *shrug*

The match may begin at anytime when both player and any referee is on
A player can seek a referee and the other player or a referee can seek both players
In the case that the participant is a referee they can start the matches themselves
(The referee benefits from the match s/he watches and posting the results - 150 rt per every 3 match-ups)

Rules & other information
Items are allowed
Glacier night has a cost limit of 2.4k in a 1v1
All bots in your commando must be of 500 cost or higher
If a player disconnects or is deemed too laggy, it will be counted as a loss
The contestant that wins this tournament will recieve 2.6k in rt
2nd place will receive 1.15k rt
A maximum of 32 players will be allowed to participate (This may change)
The list of banned bots are: Lily Rain EVE, Aquila Girl, and Rouche (More may be added in the future)

How match-ups are played:
A referee in the list below will create a glacier night room with a password and tell the 2 contestants to join
After both contestants join they're required to enter the garage at the same time (once they exit the garage, they're no longer allowed to re-enter,) during this period they're free to change bots in their commandos
The referee leaves the room and goes to observer mode
The referee will then ask both participants if they are ready to done preparing and have both participants leave the garage within the same time frame
When both players are ready, the leader of the room will start the match
After the first match ends players are once again required to enter the garage at the same time (once they exit the garage, they're no longer allowed to re-enter,) during this period they're free to change bots in their commandos
This will continue until a player wins 2/3 matches (more matches will be played in case of a tie)

sure, the rt can be nice, but they shouldnt be the mainreason to play a tournament

It's way too late now, I've given people 3-4 months time beforehand
I know it's not a good indicator of skill
However, there needs to be a bare minimum of experience
And in this instance, you aren't a special case

It's a little late to reply to this now, but the regular arena matches are easy and boring. Competitions like this are what I play for, and you can't rank up from just that.

If this one goes well, are you planning on any other tournaments after this? Maybe a type specific one or one where you need to use a specific UC bot? Even with hardly any reward, they would be a bit more fun than seeing all the same OP builds over and over that I'm sure will be in this one.
