Resolution question.

So I recently updated from a 21 1680 x 1050 monitor to a 23 inch 1080p, and CB honestly looks worse with no support for higher resolutions. Now I know that there isnt an option for 1080p in the settings, but is there a tweak in the config files of the game that could force a custom resolution? Or if not resolution then FOV? Most OpenGL games I know of have something like this.
