Misty Hallow (Hopper) Build

I got a Misty Hallow from Garapon and don't know how to use her.

Take off her scythe arm, replace it with an arm that can hold a gun (preferably have it +TEC or +WLK). Replace her other arm if you want for better stats.

Give her a gun, probably a Handy Magnum or Mini Bazooka, then a shield or another gun (preferably a shield).

To fight:
Initiate a fight
Use your mist/right-click
Move and shoot things
Refresh mist as necessary

Cartridge build:
-Capacity cartridges as needed
-Short Boost
-All Internal cartridges available

Basically, the most common build is to go the gunner route. Mist renders you invincible against guns, must very susceptible to melee attacks. Abuse this by using guns of your own (the longer the range the better usually). Since mist drastically lowers your movement speed, hopping is best to keep mobile. Internal cartridges are mainly for the speed up on your mist activation and more mist charges.
Basically, play her like a hopper with the benefit of being invincible to guns. Careful for melee.

for a hopper you only need short boost and quick land, other cart you can only up to cap upgrade to full tune her
for those weapons i think pierce gun is the best because it's fair cost, stat gain, nice weapon stat and it's bullet type

Is combat magnum, combat mag? also

If you do have em, here are other options:

Pierce Guns
Handy Zook (though I feel Mod is a better option than just handy zook; it fires faster with more ammo at the cost of less damage though)
Raid Rifle/Scouter's Rifle

And for fun:

For WBs, I suggest probably dual slayers or dual rifles. Dual slayers will let you hop around a solo fat ART with him constantly being stunned (making it really easy to land shots on him) or rifles for more damage from a distance. You'll hafta be able to aim with the dual rifles with whatever gun you're holding though; their rate of fire is slower and projectile speed is of a standard rifle....so you hafta account for that while moving around your crosshair.

Would balista shooter be better than combat mag?

Combat Mag is probably the best S-land weapon.

Or was, I don't know how it compares to Piercegun.

Piercegun might be more OP because of basically the same base stats of scouter, no derpy stat debuffs and costs less. The range is definitely the most important part if you want to troll airs.

I'd have to go with pierce too. In my experience it seems to stun quite a lot and goes through stuff.

balista shooter re better for running gunner with sway or boost run
