DBMG: Several tunes you can do here. I did Great Reach Alpha + High Reach Alpha on mine. JP uses x2 Great Rapid. You could also use Force or Great Supply.
3s Handy Laser: These were worth 1 mil UC in bazaar, I will cry if you bork this thing up. 97% sure you want triple Great Reach Alpha on it.

laser is useless in this current lvl of play...
(basically right now it is like a weaker version of machine gun without auto targets)
(back then tho, it was a weaker version of machine gun that stun locked people to death and with godly auto targets that let you hit basically anything the instant you fly over something and just clicked the left mouse button (think wide beam gun status))
tunes - Reach + Boost tunes - no need for anything else back then

DBMG -
Force and Reach are probably your best bets.

or is it cause of the whole lrn2aim that jp players have managed to get cause they been playing for far longer?

The problem is the pitiful damage it does, and the short burst time. The speed is nigh instant (lololspeedoflight) and the reach is what you want to make it as annoying as fuck. Undodgeable if someone can actually aim.

Damage on some of them is good. Proton Laser/Powered Laser/Baltheon AM have good damage. Tesla AM has a 20-ammo clip instead of 10, which is helpful too.
