Mighty Byne Girl - Need some starter advice

Please give me some help, I got garatrolled and didn't get my onee-chan.
So anybody would like to give me a guide on how to play with Mai-chan?

Tune High Gladiators on the AMs. Godly, absolutely godly.

Don't bother Slow tuning or Grapplers. Her attack is already slow moving as it is and she only has 3 hits in her full combo to use as Slow chances.

Boostrun is recommended for early-game speed if you can't tune much WLK.
Tune WLK until it reaches at least the green tier speeds. (refer to boostrun chart)
Anything higher is just preference of higher speeds.

After tune STR then TGH or more WLK if you feel like it.

So far I know of only 3 builds to go with her: Pick your poison.

Sway Gunner/Melee
Sway Pure Melee
Short Boost Gunner/Melee

Personally I use a sway Handy Zook and Buckler set-up so I'm not as useless to AIRs as my Fencer.

While Mai-chan has her armour on, you're better off playing her as a gunner LND. Her pilebunker is only one-hit and not particularly scary, so don't rely on it; use only when necessary.

Once you strip her of the armour though... ever played any bot with Red Squealer AMs? Mai-chan's pilebunkers become a 3-hit combo, AND homes like those. Go wild.

str if you go pure melee

handy bazooka + buckler
hop and boost run

3 great grappler for the weapon AM
add some to her TEC WLK and TGH

you re still fine even with 20 STR and 3 great grappler

oh poor lxe. dont worry bynechan's so much cooler anyway, just make her a melee hopper with a handy zook.
