Vulcan?

Hello,

I am fairly new to this game, like playing for about a week or so. But already I am addicted to this game, but enough of the intro and on to my topic.

I'm wondering how you can acquire the gun Vulcan in this game? I asked around in game and someone told me to go to Arcantus and keep killing mobs until they drop it. Is that true? Was Vulcan a gun in the last phase (closed beta?) of this game? I am confused because referencing to the Cosmic Break Wiki, it tells me that it is available in the shop. But I looked in the shop, and it wasn't in there so obviously it must be a dropped item. Am I right?

You shouldn't be able to join C21 right now...you don't happen to mean CB do you?

My mistake, I seem to have posted in the wrong section.

I wasn't aware C21 was a different game from Cosmic Break, so yeah disregard this I guess.

Vulcan sucks,it can be looted from arena battles.

Unless it's an Eight Vulcan.
I've made use of a normal Vulcan, but the power and ammo supply are much lower.

the range,a drum gun is better.

The only good vulcans would be the bazooka vulcan,beam vulcan and the buster gattling (L sized,can be put on airs)

naw there really is a buster gatling

at least it says so on the wiki

it fires shell damage not beam damage...

it's damage is pretty weak tho with 6 force

So Vulcan is not as good as it seems apparently. Then what would you guys recommend to outfit a Hatigarm that I recently got? I am replacing his AMs so it can use other guns instead of the crappy default loadout.

Also, I heard the deamon vulcan is pretty good, lasts a short while but fires 5 streams of bullets from the fingers.

I'm assuming regular hatigarm?

I don't know too much about him but I know him to be a hit and run kinda bot because his melee pales in comparison to Hati Machine (who was in last week's garapon..).

Normally I'd recommend something along the lines of raid rifle, but that's unavailable to you now (it was in EVE's gara). So I guess 8 Vulcan is okay (if you can run fast enough anyway), which can be found farming Arcantus (just farm each level until you run out of ammo each level until you reach the 1st outpost, rinse and repeat. Bring machine guns and vulcans I guess, anything with a high rate of fire and ammo is good. Use drop tickets if you can because otherwise the drop rate for items normally is pretty low).

Scouter's rifle is not bad either... But it has a hefty -4 STR (would it matter to you though?) and can only be found at Berzelius if I'm not mistaken. I think it also has something like -2 FLY.. don't remember. Too tired to look it up.

It seems to me though you're just a light RT user for now; if you had garapon at your disposal your options for better weapons (and bots, cuz Hatigarm regular sadly isn't too great) would be much larger...but of course that's agiven.

If it's a hartigarm from the shop,don't use it.

Only hartigarm worth using is the machine one.

Also,put K-Lancer sheilds on it

The problem is I think the OP already bought him. It's kinda impossible to say hey CS, I want to return my bot (that I didn't realize wasn't that great) for me RT back. Pl0x?

But yeah. Seconded that Hate Machine is the best one outta them. There's a good reason why he's called that.

But yeah. Seconded that Hate Manchine is the best one outta them. There's a good reason why he's called that.

Regular Hati is really situational and more for taking down lone runners. His dash length is comparable to a float dash and is much faster, two tackles would get you a hit and take you out of there. I envision a situation where you're chasing a retreating art and just before he hits the PS you lunge and frag.

Hati variations are just mainweapon/subweapon spam.

Yeah I have already bought him unfortunately. I was fooled by the price tag on Hatigarm. -,-
Figured 100 RT at 50% off meant I was getting a deal, don't really care though since all my RT is from surveys.

I already got two Eight Vulcans thanks to ngelicdark who was no offense to anyone but really the only one who provided actual help. The arms I replaced on Hatigarm currently suck, are there any AMs that wouldn't give too much stat penalties?

The stat penalties are from the Vulcans, so you should only take one with you. Use any AM high wlk (+2 , +3) really, tgh being your next important stat. Not sure of anything off the top of my head. For another weapon, I'd use a bazooka, possibly even ditching the vulcan for it.Bazooka can be found on Steel Rider in the shop.

Hati's melée tackle is good. It launches the opponent, so I used it to punish fat arts after closing in shooting them, and to get VF's out of my face.

My Hati build for the bit I tried him

2x Ghost Raider AM(these aren't particularly good, they just look neat.)
