Im thinking of Range tunes
good idea?

Last I checked there isn't a range tune for subweps. You'd need to go with glad/high glad if those are even usable on his arm, and if they are they're extremely expensive in terms of both cost (+45 cost on high glad) and materials required.

I'd just tune it for wlk, tec, etc. like a regular part instead of focusing on attempting to tune the subwep.

From an E-mail a clanmate recieved from CS inquiring about melee tunes; None of them will increase range and speed of the animation. The only things noticeable, would be how well they track and the damage of the blows itself.
