That turkey's wisps didn't get as big a buff as railgun or air railgun.

Sure it's not crazy OP, but the melee is fun and useful. Comes with balanced stats, nice fly, and the wisps are, as you said, improved.

Improvement over, say, the original, and definitely over Izuna BS wisps, but Seiron's HD now wrecks LNDs for 60 a hit easy, and it has the speed of a railgun. I'll agree with you that the melee is fun to use as, if nothing else, a gimped accel roll/air loop combo, and on fire.

It also tracks AIR units upwards, so you THEORETICALLY can always have the higher altitude. I heard it also has slight invincible frames during the attack, is that the ground jump or the air dash? The fact that you pass through the enemy with every step of the attack is disorienting to your target, but not you if you control the camera well. I like the wisps because they are a main wep, therefore Hyper Shot works on them. Suzeku's base FLY is quite a bit better than Seiron, and you can just take Seiron's head if you really want it. I just use a separate Thoarla AM3 AIR. Much better range, and you don't have to wait for AURA. (Wish it had the free ammo though)

Speaking of aura, what about that new lightning gun from Connie-gara, when you go into aura and it gets buffed, does it resupply ammo as well? Because that would make aura-compatible handheld weapons completely hax.

I don't have it, but since it does resupply ammo on normal weapons I would assume the lightning gun can also have infinite ammo.

Suzeku cause with a Seiron HD it can output enough DPS with just a burst fire to kill any land unit in a few hits.
