Ivis arrives...?

So, as some of you might've noticed, we can see Ivis peeking when we look at the April's event shedule.
I'm guessing she'll be coming out the 23rd.

Anywho.

I've heard so much about Ivis, but never seen/played her.
So, will she really change the game this much?
Ivis>Vangaurd? Ivis>EVE? o-o



Also, are YOU going to get an Ivis?

Ivis is only dangerous if she gets to you up close. Her Stun immunity is what makes her known. Just keep your distance and be at a place where she can't reach to you.

Oh and don't worry about Ivis breaking the game. EVE already broke it -_-....
srsly, Ivis seems like NOTHING compared to EVE

You should really worry more about EVEs being played well than you should about Ivis. Float Dash EVE still beats Ivis 1v1 if she's tuned.

Of course, it also takes a lot less skill to do well with Ivis than it does to do well with EVE, so.

She's been peeking on every event calendar. This isn't anything new >_>

To be honest I want Nikoru more than Aivisu, and FFFFFFUUUUUUUU if they Gwyain'd her.

Aivisu gives a +20 to arena performance out of the box, if you add pr0 factor then she gives a +30.

Ivis made her 1st appearance in CBEn during a beta 'vs Chaos' event; while one GM controlled Chaos, another slipped in unnoticed while controlling an Ivis, who proceeded to singlehandedly rip players to shreds, some before they even knew what had happened!

Being totally immune to stuns(which I suspect could be nerfed sooner or later) is probably her most feared feature, so keeping one's distance is your best hope for survival...; Bugsycait and Bugsycait BOOM can stop Ivis dead in her tracks with their shock-shield and shock-blade, respectively, and I remember on at least one occassion, an Ivis giving me a wide berth once the player figured out I had a shock-shield, heh!

Either way, I suspect things are gonna get messy once she's back in circulation!

Actually, the vangaurd rush has prepared people for ivis in a way, as it's mostly the same play-style. The people that still haven't learned to be wary and position themselves still get torn asunder, while everyone else gets away. Of course the no stun deal is gonna throw a fair number of people for a loop, expect an initial rise of silly deaths due to ignorance, and things like jikuns warping into the melee.

The one respite is that her range isn't OMGWTFHAXBBQ like haxguard, so you have a better chance of giving a shocking surprise.
